Hi! Great sound. I've recently bought a pair of Philips Klangfilm. Connected them to a tube amp, first in 8ohms, but they told me I could damage the amplifier, so connected them in 4 ohms.. but now the sound is stiff.. hurts my ears. What would you recommend? Change the amplifier to a Grundig NF20? These speakers are 4.9ohms right? Thank you

In my opinion, if you are listening at 8 0hm, and it feels good, then continue listening, without causing any damage to the Amplifier, at a sufficient volume. I'm still listening to it, with many different pairs of full-range speakers.
