Screenflow (Mac), Camtasia (PC) are two options that allow you to capture what's happening on your screen while recording yourself.

@sciencevideography Жыл бұрын
Open "Scripts" and tap the plus sign. You then have several options (add from dropbox, google drive, your files, or type a new script).

This is great and all, but for screenflow the split screen doesn't fill up the screen. Is there no way to actually split the screen so that it's regular size?

I've always considered Arroway in Contact as healthy female scientist role model. The ridiculing is primarily about her field; SETI, which especially earlier was considered fringe science, more than it is about gender, but I might have forgotten details, long time since I watched it. Gravity however, you are completely right about, but any movie, involving science but getting it wrong, makes all characters seem somewhat incompetent, regardless of the amount of gender stereotypes it applies.

Thank you for this video. Very helpful. I have a (possibly silly) question... were does the script come from? Is this something that you wrote and you have uploaded to the app? Also, could this app be used on a laptop - like a Macbook Pro? Thanks again!

Glad it was helpful. Yes, you write the script. Check the app store for other versions.

If you're using the web based PP, "Record Audio" is not an option. PowerPoint for the web doesn't support recording a slide show. These tutorials should mention that. Would have saved me tons of time searching all over.

Hi there ! At the beginning of the video you showed us two videos occupying the entire screen. I need to do this, without the spaces you used to put texts. Could you teach me this please? thank you !
@sciencevideography2 жыл бұрын
If you watch the video, I show how to change the configuration of two clips: left to right or top to bottom at about 4:06 minutes.
@PauloCosta-ns9bf2 жыл бұрын
@@sciencevideography I saw that, but I am using a screenflow ! thanks
@sciencevideography2 жыл бұрын
Drag the two video clips into the timeline and stack them. Then reposition/resize each one so that both are visible in the viewer window. You may not be able to show the entire frames of the two clips, however, because of the aspect change.

Hi thanks for this. You mentioned that we can add in our own maps. In my case I am trying to add in my own custom made background with my logo. How do I get this into the background folder? I've been able to find out how to drag and drop my image into the workings space of iMovie but I cannot get it to meld with my green screen video. How can I do that?
@sciencevideography2 жыл бұрын
You must import your custom background to your media folder. From there, you add it to your project timeline. I don’t think there is a way to put it into the preset background folder. Then add your greenscreen clip to the timeline, on top of the background clip. Be sure that greenscreen clip is selected and under “choose a video overlay style” (from the toolbar above viewer window), select green/blue screen. You may need to do further adjustments using the greenscreen “cleanup tools”. If you use one of the preset backgrounds, there are some limited options for customization (color, motion, etc.) using the overlay and crop tools.

Hi there, very impressed with your knowledge, found this video very helpful. I used this app and I notice that video image flips when it is saved. Is there a way to set up so image is not flipped?
@sciencevideography2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by "flipped". The recorded video will be oriented in whatever way the phone was held during recording (portrait or landscape). You can also crop the image in the Resize Video option in Preview.
@PoonamSharma-ry6my2 жыл бұрын
Right to left flip during selfie videos (e.g. if I am wearing earring on left ear, the recording will show on right). Hope I am able to make you understand…thanks for responding

I am not talking about rotating
@sciencevideography2 жыл бұрын
I see what you are asking now. The only way I see to do this is to save the recording to your phone's photo library and then use the camera app to rotate the image (using the camera edit option). But then you'll have to do any further editing (adding text) with something other than the teleprompter app. You can always contact the app developer to ask if there is a way to rotate the image within the app (see the link under the Support option).
