You obviously don't own a phone with gps or know how to use it . I can plan a bus, plane, train months in advance it will give me a schedule from my location and arrival time.

I was operations manager at StAgnes and drove the bus for this video. I remember we didnt have any spare drives so had to go myself but had no idea this was on you tube. 30 years ago now. Jesus.

They explain in the video. It's called the O-Bahn, special busses ride along tracks to reach faster speeds.

They're still using this system and still trying to sort out the bugs. The buses are still not running on time even though they've just upgraded their PCs to 40 Mhz 386 CPUs and Windows 3.0. They've had to clone that guy's American voice.

Incredible that the fare was $2.40 to Modbury, while today it's only $3.00 for an Adult fare on Metro card, 25 years later.

was ment to be part of the Adelaide "MATS" project , a network of freeways/motorways through Adelaide , but was canned and replaced with the bus lines

man i miss magic mountain, that was the shit when i was a kid. "even your pc at home will get access to the infomation" little they knew you can do it anywhere via smart phone. its crazy to think how quickly things have grown

I went to Magic Mountain in 1992 when this was filmed. Real bizarre. Took the O'bahn to city then glenelg tram. Adelaide was like another planet, especially coming from Sydney.
