I will always respect someone else's opinion, since that is their own and they can believe what they want. But I do think some of your opinions aren't phrased exactly the way you truly think about the game. From what I can tell in this video, it's mostly "Back in my day" statements that build your opinions. Which is fine of course, but it doesn't really explain why you think that the jupiter rework was the last good update. I expected to hear some kind of explanation on why you don't like newer systems in the game, which mechanics that were changed you didn't like etc. But you didn't really do that, you just said "back in my day....". Honestly, you also didn't really explain what things before these updates were so good about warframe why you want to reminisce about them so much. You mention that you miss the long Mot Survival runs. But... they haven't really changed have they? Besides steel path + acolytes, you can still always do them. No one, nor DE, is stopping you from doing them. I think you're just very nostalgic of the time when you were exploring the game and hadn't experienced all that the game has to offer. But saying that things were better "back then" without a real explanation just kinda ignores the incredibly healthy changes and loved systems that DE has introduced to this game. Especially when looking at new players, who get these great changes added to their experience. You can not like the creative direction the game is taking, that's fine. That's completely subjective. And it's also fine to become tired of a game. Eventually all games will end up becoming tiresome, that's just part of the gaming experience. Again, it's totally fine to miss the old days, feel nostalgic about a game etc, but don't let those thoughts overshadow and negatively impact the objectively healthy and good changes the game has brought. Even if they weren't catered or meant directly for you. It just creates an unhealthy mindset.

I think the negative view because you watched life of Rio too much, the game has evolved to the better which universally agreed upon, since then we had steal Path, litchs, damage stream line, Duviri, Zariman, and lot quality of life updates, I mean the game now is better and more accessible than ever.

While I cant deny that old Warframe had some key memories for me, you cannot reasonably tell anyone that Warframe's last good update was the Jupiter Rework. Instead of holding onto what warframe used to be with dear life, why not adapt to how successful it is now because of what it has done right and the whole slew of Destiny Players coming to give this game a fair shake? Why not look at the game more introspectively and think of how far its came SINCE the jupiter rework because its made many good (and a few bad) changes throughout the years, most that trump old warframe content/QoL by a long shot. Not going to hate on your opinion cus at the end of the day thats exactly what it is, an opinion; however to imply that warframe has regressed since the Jupiter Rework is objectively wrong and I stand by that.

So, here is what I analyzed out of current Warframe: Especially under Reb and Pablo, DE doubled down on build variety, power fantasy and rapid fire missions. Which is not a bad thing, quite the opposite, I would argue Warframe hasn't been this healthy since The Second Dream. For the first time in years, I feel like Warframe has decided on a direction. Especially in 2019 after Fortuna, it felt a lot like DE wouldn't have been able to answer the question "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Now, I can answer that question myself, because it's clear as day. The problem is, this direction came at a price, namely: challenge, teamwork, mechanics. Warframe doesn't feel as rewarding anymore, sure it's nice that the game feels faster, has more content and you have a million ways to play it. But for many players there was a certain beauty in selling Ember Prime for 1k or Arcane Energize for 400 the piece. You played the most challenging, grindy content with your team and people acknowledged that with their purse. Now, people refuse to pay for anything, because pretty much anything is so easy to farm. I think what you miss about old Warframe is that feeling accomplishment, but you still shouldn't deny that Warframe in its current state is a way better game overall.
@sinofsloth_212128 күн бұрын
God the direction they had when they announced fortuna and railjack at the same tennocon was way beyond their scope and ability. I'm so glad that they have been able to grasp the right amount of content for each expansion nowadays. [DE]layed isn't that much of a reality anymore.

Yeah I get nostalgic too sometimes but i doubt most of us would still play if it would've stayed like it was back then and didnt evolve the way it did.
@AlvinEarthworm29 күн бұрын
Ah yes. I loved the game back then when you had to buy revives with Platinum. Sprinting and melee was limited by a stamina meter and Coptering was the most efficient way to traverse maps because Parkour wasn't a thing yet. Truly the GOLDEN AGE of Warframe. Move along, people. He's just another clueless content creator who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

lmao every update has been amazing over the last few years? what are you even talking about? and if you thought that the lotus eaters quest was going to be some super in depth long form story, that's on you, they were very direct with saying that it was a prelude/tease for 1999, also alot of your complaints seem to originate from you not moving on from your very narrow play style also "the last good update was the Jupiter rework" is genuinely an insane statement

@massyl2529 күн бұрын
The last update wasn't mainly the quest. This quest is just a prologue.. It was mainly beginner oriented update with a lot of good stuff for them, the prime access and stuff like 2 forma blueprint in void relics.. If this update was released in 2017, everyone would have been crazy over it. But for the most part, it's kinda not a surprise you don't see it's effects.Those updates are still very needed. Honestly saying that the last good update was the jupiter rework is absolutely crazy to me but y'know, you do you. TBH I feel like people are just never happy in this game. I would feel like shit being a warframe dev.
@SabrinaAberman29 күн бұрын
The point of lotus eater was a tease for 1999. The only real reason to hate the quest is that DE framed it as a more in-depth tease like the new years segment in the whispers in the walls quest (not trying to be mean sorry. Love the vid tho)

I played BL2 for the first time a few weeks ago and had a great time with it. I really only had 2 complaints. First, the fast travel system did get tiresome. I know this is an older game, but essentially you can only fast travel from these designated fast travel stations. In modern games you can usually fast travel from anywhere so I did get pretty tired of running across the maps. Second was that I felt forced to do some side missions. Personally, i was just interested in blazing through the campaign, but I would get stuck because I was underleveled and I couldnt beat the story missions. And then the fast travel problem was compounded because I had to run across maps more to do side missions and get the needed XP.

I have been playing this game for the first time now, in 2024. Back in 2021, I played a lot of Borderlands 1 (63 hours). Did everything, the side missions, the story missions, Crawmerax, etc. Great game. But after putting so many hours into the first game, I felt kinda tired to play the second one right after finishing the first. Well... 3 years later, I'm having a blast with Borderlands 2. It's great to see people putting out content for this game, even after 12 years of its release. Great video man, keep it up.
