I was very pleased to have rung in the first quarter of St Clement's College Bob Minor at St Clement's back in 2022. A lovely ring of bells - a valuable asset to ringing in Cambridge.

No peals there, that would be interesting 5040 of bob minimus. Anothe back 4 and you would have a good 8.

@@Steven_Rowe you have quite a lot of methods you can ring on 4! With enough variety it could be ok, I've never rung a 4 bell peal. Yet.

@@Dzwonek05 they are quite a pleasant ring, tenor is apparently 14 cwt but feels like 10 maximum! G# would be very high in pitch for 14!

@@PlainBobMinor14325 yes it's lower than ideal but the tail end can't be extended much more and the sally would get stuck in the pulley if it was higher!

@@adamm2693 I don't get this negativity about being able to see the stonework. Granted, sometimes the pointing is a little severe but in general I don't think the appearance of these churches would be improved if the walls were whitewashed.

Sounds identical to Darley Dale, Derbyshire and very similar and in Darley Dale fashion they’re ringing Stedman Triples

@@timmeh1507 Yes, but it was mostly later on (post-war), and if I’m not mistaken at the point these were cast it was shortly after they’d finally got the hang of tuning!

@@Ringer_Fran I suppose a lot of their really famous rings are postwar but some of their early harmonically tuned bells are absolutely superb. Fenham, Stoulton, St David's Cathedral...

I thought Taylor bells but was wrong However installed and tuned by Taylors in 1953 using harmonic tuning Certainly did a fabulous job on the tuning. Also this is great ringing

What were they ringing for a wedding or something because they sometimes do the bell ringing when there's a wedding going on in the church it's not just Sunday services when they ring the bells after 10:00 in the morning and then until 11:00 it's not just that so is it a wedding?
