amazing. i recently had a vivid dream where i went to get my profile picture taken for a student id (i'm currently waiting for exam results) and when i got there, i was told that the man who took the pictures was a wizard (looked exactly like the wizard of oz from the 1939 movie, which happens to be my favorite movie) who could tell your personality based on the animal toy you chose from a glass container. i chose a small duck and the people behind me got mad because they pointed out it was the most uncommon one and i should've just picked a common one (everyone was choosing similar green animals, the majority in the container), which had the most simple explanation. i don't remember anything about the explanation, but i remember i went with the duck anyway and the explanation took so long the people behind me had to leave because the stablishment was closing and i was to be the last costumer for the day. i've been having more clarity about what it might mean with this video, so thank you :)

Do you have any thoughts on crushes? I have a confession-- I have a crush on my brother's best friend. We are in our late 20s. I hate that anytime my brother comes to visit, I have the motive sometimes to just hangout with him to see the crush. The thing is, I don't think he is really interested in me but it hurts a lot and I keep looking for signs that he likes me. Why do I keep trying to pursue this person? It's like I want them to wake up and see that we could enjoy each other. I keep chasing crushes. Maybe I feel like the only way people will like me is if I manipulate them into doing it. I know that part of it is I'm afraid that I am not lovable, and that if I don't chase, I will never have anyone. I couldn’t find any minimum GPA requirements on their website but with all the competition I already know it needs to be quite high. But I’m currently in my Junior yr with a low GPA (3.3) and I really wanna go to this school but I’m shaking in my boots!!! Do you think with a good enough Portfolio and exam I’ll be able to get in? Would there maybe be a place where I could explain my lower grades? Is there any other good art schools do you know which could be more obtainable for me? I would love to study abroad particularly in France since I’m fluent in French.

Even the people who treat us like we're shit see value in us. Otherwise, they won't lose their time to talk to us for even one second.

If someone is offering the same (or better) qualities for less cost, you're out of luck. Your idea assumes there is no competition to contend with. That's why you don't get to set your value, the market does. Don't sell yourself short of true market price, i agree. But if you overestimate your value nobody's gonna buy. It happens with housing all the time, as well long term relationships.

I think part of it is also thinking about the new owner of a thing you once cherished and loved so much. You think this person is not going to love it as much as you do even if you just let it rot in a corner…Same goes for ourselves. When we receive treatment that we do not feel fit or fair to ourselves it’s better to be left alone , because then at least we have our peace, instead of sharing ourselves with someone that simply doesn’t deserve us.
