Getting errors trying to get this to start. No VR environment comes up at all. I have OpenXR selected. Says it can't boot up into an OpenXR runtime.

They should add huge cyberpunk like cities with flying cars, huge skyscrapers etc. Those could also be procedurally generated. Or why not, corouscant planets.

How's the graphics compare to PC with RTX 4080?

I mean the quest isn't "playing" anything. The pc is running the game and the quest is just a screen.

Im playing on the exact same set up as you. I absolutely love the game, but i do find the aliasing annoying. Especially in space stations. There's just still a lot of jagged lines and distortion in the distance. Im looking at playing on PC with the PSVR2 if it helps solve those issues. I hear a good PC can really bring the PSVR2 to life with No Mans Sky.

Your title had me confused. I purchased this game many years ago, when it first came out, and have over 750 hours into it. I would have been disappointed if they went the route of DLC, which usually means Downloadable Content that you would purchase to add on to the base game. But this add on is part of the base game, and there is no cost to it. BTW, the game is also 60% off until February 10, if you don't have it, and are thinking about getting it. I've also tried playing the game in VR with my Pimax 5K+, but I just couldn't get use to the controls.

As long as I can't use my Dualsense in combination with my PSVR2 it's a no from me. I don't like the motion controls for long periods of time and the fact it's a choice that was removed given it was a choice you had with PSVR1 leaves me feeling a bit sour towards Sony!

I spent some time in it yesterday in vr. It was pretty much as I remembered it and I came away kind of ho-hum. I think I need a fresh expedition to really appreciate any newness here and fortunately its coming.

It’s a good game, but it’s still seriously lacking in the pve department. For once I wish they’d stop concentrating on the cosmetics of the game and paid more attention to the game play.

Since this video I have started a FRESH FULL PLAYTHROUGH of the game in my spare time. I never did complete the main campaign, so plan to do that in my spare time. I just made an amazing base so expect some video updates from me ;)

Admire HG continued development of this game, it has its own charm and offers depth and a good level of immersion, yet cant get beyond the Sesame St characters, laughable flight model amd kindergarten UI and menu system, far too juvenile, but it keeps the minecraft/Stardew valley crowd happy.

I really want to like no man's sky... But it feels like there's just a bunch of junk scattered around everywhere.... I still prefer elite dangerous... Although I wish elite dangerous had just a little bit more life... Where's no man's sky is littered with it... VR when on foot in elite dangerous sucks... Too bad the two games can't have a baby.

Problem is the games I don't play look miles better on the pro so doesn't make sense to get one right now . Only exception is arken age but doesn't justify the price for one game .

Lol. I uploaded a video to reddit of a planet with this exact same biome. I was equally amazed. Unfortunately the video doesn't do it justice. Its just mind blowing in the oled headset!

I've been playing it in VR since the update, and man, it is so so good! It's the one reason I'd want a PS5VR for this. For me this is a system seller, and the only game a VR user could get away with owning, if they could only have 1 VR game to play.
