I was curious about the "logic and coding in one step" thing... cuz, when I'd work on beginner program ideas, I would just start typing! As I'd type I was working out the logic at the same time. Now, I imagine that's easy for newby problems, but are you saying that THIS is what seasoned coders actually do? They don't do pseudocode and all that?
