But I would say a memorable case that has stuck with me has to be when a dog came in for being impaled by a big tree branch. I will never forget that day. It felt so amazing to be able to nurse him back to health 😊

Hi 😊 I’m currently doing my masters in biology. I think if you’re in pretty good standing with a gpa of 3.0 and above for your undergrad, then a post-bac makes more sense to me especially if you still need to complete some of your prerequisites. But I personally decided to do a masters because my grades in undergrad weren’t the best. So I was looking to boost my GPA more so. Hope that was helpful!

Hi, so at the VEG location that I work at we’re separated into 3 different categories which is inpatient, outpatient and triage. So if I’m assigned to triage, then I would be responsible for grabbing vitals on incoming patients and making sure they’re stable. If I am assigned to outpatient, then I would be working on outpatient treatments and diagnostics like bloodwork and x-rays. And if I am assigned to inpatient then I’m most likely doing hourly treatments for my hospitalized patients and that can vary from taking vitals to going on walks or administering medications. I also assist in surgeries as well as wet table procedures (i.e laceration repair or unblocking). Lastly, I’m also responsible for other hospital tasks such as doing laundry, sterilizing instruments for surgery, making sure treatment area is fully stocked, etc… I hope that was helpful!
