Wole, those buildings look nice and also "EXPENSIVE". Why should State Governors waste the funds meant for the development of their States, and also for providing jobs for their various States in building luxury houses in Abuja, called "Governors' Lodge"? Remember, when Lagos was the Federal Capital, States had Governors' Lodges. If peradventure, the Federal Capital is moved to Asaba tomorrow, these States would also go to Asaba to build "Governors' Lodges" again. Is that not a kind of waste of their states' resources. Are Governors supposed to live in their States or at the Federal Capital? Governors are supposed to visit Abuja only intermittently, either for meetings or other conferences and go back to their States. What do they need such houses for? Currently, Governor of Imo State, technically, lives in Abuja with his family, and only visits Owerri occasionally. His wife and children live inside the Governor's Lodge. Is that the right thing to do? How does he know what goes on in Owerri? Who acquires these buildings after the Governor's term is up/over? That is one of the reasons why most past Governors pick their successors, so that they could impose their wills on them. Look at Lagos State, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna and others, where we have hand-picked and imposed Governors. You see that any State that refused imposition and control by the ex-Governor is riddled with crises, Look at the case of Rivers State and a few other States.

it was a skyline planned project until Buhari came and cancelled the project, all in the name of investigation, and during that, the investors pulled out never to return, and now, they'v resulted to selling plots to individuals to build duplexes and decking houses. @ugowilliams8437

These developers and management company of the Centenary City are not serious. The first thing to do in this phased project is to lay out the segments of the city by building expansive roads and critical foundational infrastructure, subterranean power cables, drainage and so on, before embarking on the erection of apartment blocks and other structures. They should go and learn from those managing Eko Atlantic City in Lagos. What they are doing here is child's play. They cannot woo investors with this unserious approach.
