It's great to see the images especially when one has been able to be there too with you in November 2024. Great shots as usual and lovely compositions. Agree that the structure in the 2nd shot is somewhat too bulky and blocking.

Jon, what better to do on New Year's Eve 2024 but look at Gibbo's great video from 2019 on a misty Summer morning. Authentic, and natural - I just love it and think you should offer a Summer WS, we'll tryand help you with getting up early...... Great shots of the river and the mills and lovely hilarious comments. So beautiful. I hope and wish for you to keep doing these vlogs, because they are just great.

Can't beat a misty morning in the Lakes, good on you Jon for getting up the hill.

I see you'd ventured a little further along from the bench on the viewpoint, than I've ever done during my visits and it's a good job you did! Some cracking conditions you observed and captured. I really like many of your images and the pano was epic. It would probably be the one with the most commercial interest too.😉 I also liked the view to the left of where you'd set up, with the snaking line of hill, but it would've meant shooting directly into the sun. Anyway, it's a great spot and I'm glad you enjoyed yourself up there. Oh and next time, makesure you've got a 100-400mm with you, as it's the lens to have up there!

You seem to know your fells, especially for a Southerner! Think that fell was Great Dodd you were referring to. Lovely conditions and very well homed in on those details with the light and mist. Bootiful as a famous Norfolk bloke once said

Great Video Jon, I love "The Lakes" and Latrigg gives superb views despite being one of the lower fells as you have proved with some great images. Pity it's such a long old drive from Norfolk ! 😉

It's a beautiful place Jon , not been there for a while , last visit i had some night fishermen at the view point , but i worked round them , we are all there to enjoy the same thing after all .
