Hi Jason, the ride is mostly on minor gravel roads and winding, interesting 4WD and logging tracks - like the open easy tracks and gravel roads we use for the Capel 200, but without the gnarly stuff and the single tracks - and we've tried to make it suitable for big bore dirt bikes and larger adventure bikes. Whilst the route should be able to be ridden by riders of all abilities, it is essential that everybody has some off-road/gravel riding experience. I did it last weekend on a big old clumsy 88 XT600 Tenere and it was fine. Also if you have the option then I'd probably recommend road approved knobby tyres, such as Pirelli Rallycross, rather than dual purpose adventure tyres, though either should be ok. Cheers J

Will the ride be more open and gravel roads and 4WD tracks more suited to 'big' bikes rather than single trail like the one used for the Ironstone 200 and suited more for Enduro bikes?
