That’s way too much work but I learned something. This song is through the head unit which is ridiculous. Once we become acclimated to these beeps they do nothing anyway but annoy us. There is no excuse for not being able to turn off door chimes. When I have the door open and I’m working I want to play the stereo like any American man would but it beeps so I have to keep the door closed. There has to be a way to take apart the head unit and disable this for chime crap. Now for the seat belt I just put an adapter in there so I don’t get that beep but I want my door to be open and not have to hear this damn ding sound. Whoever came up with that is an idiot

This is my problem with dealers. They wanted to charge you an extra hour of labor to change a fuel filter. That’s right there with the maintenance you were needing with the tuneup to begin with now I understand charging a little extra because it is an extra step I get that but a whole Nother hours worth of labor for something that’s already right there is criminal And wonder why they get bad reputations

I've tried the folded paper towel trick and the extra thikness causes the filter door to pop open. There looks to be a bit of a bend to the door latch (hook) so I may have to buy a new door just so it holds the filter and paper towel "fix" in place.

@opichocal
@opichocal 9 ай бұрын
I like it but if I could trade it for a new stock wind screen I would. The wind protection is a little better stock plus I like the vent. The main reason I bought this is it was half the cost of OEM. One gripe I have is I’ve washed the windshield 6-7 times and I’m already seeing minor scratches. First I soak it with a wet towel for 30 minutes, then pressure wash it on low and use clean soapy warm water with a microfiber cloth to lightly wash any bugs etc. off. Compared to my original screen it’s nothing but I don’t think it will last 15 years with hundreds of washes. It’s not bad but I wish the screen was made out of the same material F4 uses. I’ve had the F4 on my Spyder for 9 years and it still looks 90% new. Let me know what you end up with. I would stay away from the cheap $150 windscreens on eBay or Amazon. Mike

My frig uses the #3 filter and I had not been replacing the filer as recommended. Actually left the last one in since 2016. Some time in the last two years, the water dispenser would chatter when dispensing water so we stopped using it. (Sounded like the inlet valve chattering to me as the ice maker water valve did not chatter when the ice maker filled.) The ice maker continued to work and I could hear it when filling. This week we ran out of ice and realized that the ice maker had stopped making ice. I see that the ice maker water inlet sluice has a frozen plug of ice. Removing the plug did not help as a new plug developed over a week. I decided to order a new water valve to fix the abandoned water dispenser and hopefully the ice maker fill problem (this all might be the result of the 7 year old filter). Unfortunately, I did not test the water dispenser after removing the old filter when I installed the new water valve. After I replaced the water valve, the water dispenser dispenses water but at a slow rate without the old filter (15 to 20 seconds to fill 8oz glass). After about 30 minutes, the ice maker cycled and I see that the ice maker is full of water. Deciding to put in a new filter (I can't find the original PUR #3) I purchased the #3 every drop filter and installed it but it popped out. On one insertion attempt I heard a chattering and water flowing (possibly into the filter as none leaked out). With the filter installed and clicked in, I get no water flow at all at the water dispenser when I tested it. Removing the filter I get the 15 to 20 second fill rate. I put the Every Drop filter back in and again - no water at the dispenser. After dinner, I tried the dispenser again and water flowed about 4 oz into a glass and then slowed to a drip. I suspect that water is slowly moving through the filter and collecting in the cooling reservoir, I see other comments where it is suggested that the short pin between the water connections be trimmed back about 1/16 inch. I'll try putting in the old filer just as a test before I hack on the new filter.

@@opichocal After the filter was installed at 17:30 on Sunday, I returned to it at 14:20 on Monday and tried the dispenser before taking any other action. Lo and behold I got a solid stream that filled a 13 oz glass in a 10 second count. I ran 48 13 oz glasses and the water flowed solidly for every one. The water is clear and tastes good. Additionally, I could hear the dispenser valve cycle and hear the water "rushing" through the valve. I can't explain it. All my previous experience was with replacing with the PUR filter and I never had a problem with the filter clicking in and water would flow immediately without the flow issue.
