The latter half of this song(oh shit this version gets cut off before it gets weird ignore that love this whole song as it's uploaded here) I have never really enjoyed but the first part of the song almost always gives me chills/goosebumps and there has been so many occasions where I put my songs radio as loud as it will go and scream along to the lyrics. I don't if it's just me but as I transition into an adult with actual responsibilities I can't help but resonate with the refusal of responsibility that is expressed. Such a good angst song. I don't want to be in a rock band but I understand the desire of not living in society in a society that doesn't want you to exist as yourself but instead just wants you to exist for the utility you bring to the workforce. I haven't found a song since the provokes the same visceral emotional response that this song does.

Still sad that they never continued this sound, or had her sing any other tracks. I love their first couple albums, but this was my favorite song by them.

Weighing in for 2017. Just discovered the band from a VICE sampler (VICE saves Texas) I found on my street in New Orleans. Wondering if the band is still active. Notice that much of the material sounds the same by remaining in one key. Heard a term "Chamber Pop" associated with them but not exactly certain what that means.

I honestly felt like I heard this song somewhere around and when the chorus comes by, it brings in nostalgia

I found beach house from The Wknd sampling of Master of None, splendid how that worked out! Been on them for a couple years now.

When I'm solo girl stressing me out and a tad buzzing probably the best music to go to. Mellows me out so bomb👌🏽
