Can't disagree with that ;) Just wanted to tell that he did. A lot of people don't know that. (And a lot of Ensiferum fans, never listened to their first album or hardly to their second; LOL) That's why i pointed it out :D cheers : )

I know he did some high screams in Ensiferum (especially in "Sword Chant") and even more in Wintersun (for example on "Starchild"), but they're not as high or clean as this one (and there's another video of Jari singing this even higher, /watch?v=v2Uf5nATUoo ). I was just pointing out that Jari's voice has a great range, even if he doesn't really need the highest notes he could sing (they don't really fit Ensiferum's or Wintersun's genre).

Well as a violin player I'm not going to nitpick the "correct" way to hold the bow, but you might want to hold it from the other side so you don't get oil all over the hair. Not a matter of technique, just trying to keep your bow hair from turning black

btw your bow hold is incorrect on the bow gotta curve your thumb and pinky and other fingers are slung over the stick touching the sides of the hairs thumb is under the mid finger just barely not touching

You rushed a bit here and there, but all in all this is pretty cool. I don't know if you were doing it on purpose or not but how you're holding the bow is a lot like an underhand technique some of the cellists use in the baroque ensemble I perform with. I understand you probably had to adapt the hold to make it work for guitar, so kudos for that :) Do you actually play any bowed instruments? It just seems like you've got some sort of training backing it up.
