You know I’ve noticed something, I think secretly Leo has always been the leader because when things are falling apart or the team is losing hope at winning he jumps in gets them uplifted and lays out a plan or more of a strategy of course then he just jokes around like he didn’t just take control of the situation and get the team back on their feet, which is another reason why it’s so hard on Raph because he wants the best for everyone yet isn’t the greatest at plans and starts panicking under pressure but I also think this pressure on Raph plays into how Leo gets to good off and lead here and there because Raph has taken all the pressure and guilt of a plan not falling through, which sucks for Raph and I’m glad after shredder that the imbalance was fixed, yet I also know Raph takes pride in being leader and looking after his bros and he didn’t believe in Leo because he was still holding that pressure taking the blame for a plan falling through even though no one blamed him, this also didn’t give Leo a chance to really grasp what a leader was and so he just lead how he normally would, which of course caused problems because Raph was supposed to take charge not Leo at least in both their heads, by the end of the krang movie Raph has finally realized that Leo is willing to take responsibility of his actions and work to fix his mistakes, Raph has finally realized that he doesn’t have to carry everything on his shoulders and can trust his blue brother to help out and fix problems🤔 Another thing I just thought about: what if the reason Splinter said Leo should be leader at the end of shredder is because splinter for the first time saw Leo’s secret way of leading and decided to make him the known leader🤔
