Brahms is one of the few composers to create piano works for four hands. In addition to these waltzes, he composed The Hungarian Dances (for four hands) which are amongst the most dynamic piano works ever created.

Brahms was a great composer, but the Hungarian dances were inspired by gypsy music and folk music, they are not completely originals. Would love to hear the original music that inspired him.
