Awesome match love volcanics. Tough loss though. Some advice for the volcanic player. Game 2 at 8:21 you have to send the original blaze accelerator in order to resolve volcanic blaze accelerator. Also even after trooper being ash blossomed you still could’ve used the other eff of trooper to discard and give your opponent a bomb token, then used volcanic blaze to destroy the token deal -500 dump rimfire and proceed from there.

So much going on in this duel that didn’t make sense . Tenpai player turn one ended his turn but not sure he attacked creation king. The trap says all of hai monster must attack Creation King.

Doesn’t Waterfront gain 1 counter at the point any card goes to either players graveyard, even if multiple cards are sent simultaneously? For example, when you link summon wouldn’t you get 1 counter even though 4 cards go to grave for the summon? but it would also means that it gains counters when yours or your opponents cards go to the graveyard, so the kaiju counters keep coming for gamaciel to negate and banish the actual key cards. I feel like you were nerfing yourself

I think it helps if your opponent impermanence’s the first gragunal dragon . I was on one too but I decided to bump it up to 2

I believe there was a misplay with regained around 7:00. Colossus can be put back into the ED, but since you did not put it on the bottom of your deck, you cannot draw a card.

SP effect was in response just for the activation of the card, not the effect, I think VV player could use the effect of ritual summoning to the summon/effect of SP as chain link 2.

You made a mistake you cannot spécial summon fenrir.Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames, limite you to sum only Fire monster FIRE [Fiend/Link Monster] ATK/2700 LINK-3 2+ Effect Monsters You cannot Special Summon monsters, except FIRE monsters.

Something to note about game one, this was recorded at the beginning of the format, before Kash snake-eye was a common choice. The spright player probably thought the snake-eye pilot was on pure Kash

This might be the most useful melodious video I’ve seen. Without breakdowns like this I get so lost on the topping lists I see in the fb group. Big question: Powersink stone is amazing but their was a list that took 2nd in the Spain WCQ I believe Where stone was he had 1 trap tricks and 2 roars. The logic was that when we go first vs snake eyes as an example, if they play DRNM or droplets, we can chain our trap and then chain Etoile This makes it so we can’t be otk’d and we play around their strongest board breakers If that’s stone in those spots, they can out the stone with various combinations (normal summon + black witch into IP or Phoenix will pop it, after they turn off our board with droplets / DRNM) He ran a split of 2 d barrier 1 trap trick 2 roar Trap trick served as a chainable thrust to protect us And we ran 1 trick + 2 roar vs SE And we ran all 5 vs tenpai if we so choose Thoughts? On the swap of stone to the roar + trick package? Edit: I realize you can activate both Etoile and schuberta on resolution of DRNM and Droplets, this will make the stone live 👀

The amount of hand traps you get to play makes it so going second isn't the worst. Also you can make some plays like first movement into aria and kill apo that only has 2 negates and play mp2 with the targeting protection.
