Was going to drive to the supermarket but the car wouldn't start. Battery fully discharged. It's only two weeks old but freezing outside and I suspect a phantom power draw. On charge overnight now.

Go for it. I came from using Cubase years ago. Made the switch to Live because it was quicker to lay a new beat down. I believe Cubase has changed a lot since.
