Yes, this is an annual race called Fears Tears and Beers.

Thats a nice trail. But not many people on it. Kind of scary. They had a mountain lion attack not long ago in that area

It’s a bike specific one way trail, so you usually don’t see many people on the way down. It is a popular area though, so there is usually many people in the area.

Sorry about not calling out the finish, but I learned from your crash and made sure to call it out afterwards. That tree took out or almost took out several people even after letting them know the lap was over.
