Just got fired today. I've been working in a delivery job as a rider for a couple of months. If you're a minority of a racial group at your workplace then you're fucked. Although it was a student 9-5 job and sucked it was the job that put meals on my table. It feels terrible cuz I was getting used to it and it feels worse cuz It happened during exams so yea not a good time for looking for a new job. Anyways I have no choice. I have to be the man and get a new temporary 9-5.

Why we get fired from my job even though a simple mistake like schedule or getting mixed up on schedule which is really stupid to fire people like me that's always like to work and come in a lot I'm not very lazy when it comes to work I could always do better somewhere else even though one job is not the only job in the world there's a lot of opportunities out there and different places and different people to see that's how I look at it in society.

I know you posted this video a long time ago, but I got to tell you, it is one of the most honest and raw videos I ever saw. Many of us can relate to your experience, and it is very helpful to know that it is something that does happen, and we are not alone. You helped a lot of people.

I was fired from a less than minimum wage job when a group of Mexican high school children ran me out of a car dealership. I was under a union contract and no lawyer cared to sue on my behalf on contingency. One jerk asked for $30K even though I made $10 per hour. No one cares, life sucks. Now I gamble for a living. I got fired a month ago and though it stung a bit, I actually didn’t feel as bad after a couple days realizing the dumb daily tasks they had us do and how we felt pressured often. I’ve been interviewing for new jobs that pay 20k more a year and I should find something better soon. Also having 20k in the bank as an emergency fund makes you feel so much more relaxed and confident.

I got fired yesterday. I’m supposed to be at work at 4 am. I have a prepaid phone. My service ran out. I overslept that morning. Woke up at 7am went and got my service turned on. They called me I called them told them the situation. They fired me over the phone. Pick ya self up. Brush ya shoulders off and move on.

I was just fired today with absolutely no notice. They made up fake reasons for the firing and made me feel isolated and alone while I was there. The company just spent $1,000 on uniforms for me last week and paid for my complete training, then fired me! I also had horrible management... I sympathize with your pain. I hope things turned out great for you.

That aside, I know I’m 4 years late and you’ve probably moved on in your career, but if I may provide a few honest observations: - Claiming you got fired “out of the blue for no good reason” is usually not true, even in a state that has employment at will. Even those who are laid off are at least given a day’s notice. You yourself mentioned you were late three days in a row. If you work for an employer with strict attendance policies, especially if you were an hourly employee, then they had a perfectly legitimate reason to terminate you. Sorry, but that’s the truth. - Vlogging on a worldwide social platform about why you were fired is never a good idea. Ever. Potential employers can and WILL find out about you on here and you can bet they’ll be watching your videos as well as visiting your social media profiles. If I were you, I’d take this video down. - Finally, don’t rant about how much you hated your job and that you’d been wanting to leave for a while. Even if you’re telling the truth, employers will see that and think you have no work ethic and will not be motivated. That’s a big problem. But seeing as how this was 4 years ago, I hope things worked out for you.

Hope you are doing well. I got fired earlier this year on Feb 28th by a monster of a CFO boss who hated my guts even though I was always respectful to her. I was an accountant there, working hard and doing the job of 2 people sometimes. Yet because she didn't like my personality and my person in general she fired me. Good luck, hope all is well.

Well you can’t come late to work. You have to make “coming early to work” your first priority. Set alarms to get ready or leave your house at the right times. You can’t just “ oh I might be late today... and the next day ... and the next day” I mean; what are you trying to show your employer with that???
