How can I get better at the strumming and picking patterns because I just keep messing up because I feel like I loose control of my hand if that makes sense

Yes, I get what you mean. 👍 It's all about building up the muscle memory in order to play it without thinking about the count of it... But in order to do that, you have to understand the count to begin with and then keep practicing the motions and rhythm. 🙈 The best thing you can do is to start as slowly as you need to without messing up, and then use a metronome to go a little faster each day until you start to develop that muscle memory. 💪 It's going to take time and patience, as well as consistent practice but once you can do it for one song, you can apply it to the others that use the same rhythms! 🎸 If strumming is what you're struggling with, I'd recommend my Practice With Me video that goes with this song. 🤗 kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5O2imSGm8etY80
