I stopped liking kiefer over this for a while. Why did Julia dye her hair blond? I mean, come on seriously, Julia! Kiefer needs a hug . I think his rodeo stuff is hot. I actually like Chicago Joe.

My favorite movie is 1969 and Promise Land.

I'm not crazy about Jack Bauer, so I guess I'm different, but it's good to be different. I'd give anything to be merried to kiefer Sutherland he makes me want to be a better person. We are 12 yrs apart, though . I love his eyes and voice he's very hypnotic. Kiefer deserves some happiness. I hope he finds a marriage that lasts and works for him, even if not me, lol . He's definitely my favorite actor. I've been buying all of his movies and reading what I can. I hope I get to meet him one day and have an easy conversation . I wish him the best !!!!

I admire Sam Bronfman. I may not have liked him if I'd met him (altho I do think this doc goes a bit overboard in its depiction of his aggressive dominating personality), but I have a lot of respect for what he accomplished. At a time when Jewish people weren't allowed entree into most professions in Canada (including the law, which had strict informal 'quotas'), the Bronfman family rose to become one of the wealthiest & most generous families in the nation. Sam saw opportunities where others didn't. He took calculated risks, but he also worked extremely hard--as did his whole family--& consolidated his gains. In a single generation, & despite the bigotry & anti-semitism he encountered the whole way, Sam took his family from an isolated farm on the windy rural Prairies to a position in the most lavish & exclusive bastions of power in urban Toronto & Montreal. Astonishing trajectory, & he created a legacy of safety & security for his family.

Lol this documentary starts off lamenting their family escaping "persecution" in Russia, and within minutes rejoices in how they've lied and cheated their way to the top. They're at the very top of the pyramid and endlessly claim they're oppressed.

Fun story, in between the time that Kiefer had dropped out of school and lived on the streets of Toronto until he called his parents, he had met my grandfather. My grandfather was a play director for one of the companies his older brother was working on a play in, so Kiefer would often during the day come in to sit and watch as they rehearsed. One day my grandfather went up to Kiefer and asked him if he wanted to be in a play, and he said no because he didn't want to follow in the steps of the rest of his family. My grandfather suggusted that Kiefer atleast try it, and he agreed. My grandfather sent him with a sound technician named Randy to a local audition studio and Toronto and demanded he get an audition despite not having an agent. They refused until they found out whose son he was, and Kiefer was given the part, of what part in what play my grandfather doesn't remember. Right after that was when he called his parents and told them he wanted to do acting. He tben went on to get the part of Bay Boy. Just a fun little story my grandfather likes to share whenever we see him on TV.

Led Zeppelin are my second favorite band on this planet and I'm sure the surviving members of the band have their reasons of not reuniting permanently either in the studio or on the road... Led Zeppelin were the band of the 1970's!!! They changed rock 'n' roll forever just like with the Beatles with their album "sergeant peppers lonely hearts club band"... Bottom line is, Led Zeppelin cannot be a band without the great John Bonham!!!
