The annoying tingle you feel is just your socially whittled self-esteem and anxiety trying to tell you that you're taking up too much space. You're not...you're good. I don't mind suggestions....I just never guarantee they'll get done either by my forgetting or by the song just not clicking for me. This week being Thanksgiving is super busy(380 ppl for a buffet brunch to prep) but I'll listen to the song when I remember and have time. Trust me...most people take time to comment and generally just post their favorite lyrical part like they're singing, or whine about the song not being perfectly what they would expect. I offer to coach them through the process with the free software sources but so far they all ghost the tutoring option.

@@condroid3000 Not a worry. My own mental state has only really been dialed in for the past 3y, and I'm in my 50s so I've had a few decades of well-meaning-yet-self-destructive choices myself. I found myself loving the creation process as it gives me a couple puzzles to figure out and was always a decent distraction. If you want to mess around, moises.ai allows 5 tracks for free each month. They get split apart, then you load those files into a free audio editor (Audacity) and go through the song muting the vocal parts you don't want and keeping the harmonies and full choruses.

@@condroid3000 So it didn't really click for me. I don't dislike the song, but it just didn't hit for me. Still happy to help teach you how to do it yourself, at your own pace if you wish. Start with moises.ai to upload the track...they allow 5 free tracks/month to split apart. Step 2, whenever you're good just holler and we'll move on. :)

@AwestaKhalid the chorus vocals are doubled up, so nah...I don't think I'll be doing that. There are few services you can split the song up yourself and make it. More than happy to coach you through the process.

Yeah you're still talking about where there are backing harmonies. The pure higher harmony didn't pull apart clean, so since 99% of people at karaoke bars have zero clue how the song originally sounded I feel confident it'll just sound like you singing with backing vocals. So yes....they're backing harmonies which are intentionally left in there.

Thank you. In all honestly I probably won't get to those songs. This was a commission from a few years back, and I've always been a bigger fan of the guys who are IN Def Leppard then of their music. Joe Elliot is an amazing human being. I was out one night in Vegas during their residency and he just randomly showed up to karaoke night. He duetted with anyone who asked him, even for his own songs.
