Leandros did feel "guilt" over the words that titus told him that he failed at the most important thing of an ultramarine. Leandros then did all he could to become true and save titus. granted he is still a massive dipshit, but i like to think that he the words titus gave him stung him hard.

Here's a bit of lore. That wasn't actually Calgar saying "Rise, son of Guilliman". It was actually the Emperor. Devs patched it to where it now says "Voice" when the subtitles pop up. The text was bugged and showed the wrong name. For which they confirmed it wasn't Calgars.

Necrons history are easy dang it, their original wirkd is a swamp of radiation poisoning shortening their life, they seek immortality, met the Old Ones during their expansion, who are basically gods, denied the necrons, the necrons declared war trying to gain it by force, losing miserably. So necrons met the Khatan, another god like entities, gave them immortality in exchange of their souls, and made them a robot army to beat the Old Ones, the Old Ones made Orcs and Eldars to fight Khatan and the new Necrons, lost anyway, but Orcs and Eldars are still powerful, Necron King who retained his memories staged a coup against Khatan, won by chance, imprisoned Khatan to be used as unlimited power source, went to sleep due to being overpowered by orcs and eldars. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand we woke them up.

Lowkey makes sense for dipshit codex riding Leandros to become a Chaplain. I doubt Calgar would just kill him out of mere spite for snitching Titus to the inquisition. Instead, he made very good use of him, an able and working space marine, and chucked his ass under the Reclusiarch. And i'm pretty sure he did not enjoy that process. He probably ate the codex for all I care.

@@andrewdowns9047 It's an honor on the Outside, but it's an isolated life. As a Chaplain you will never experience true Brotherhood, because which Brother would ever openly talk to a Chaplain about stuff? No one. As a Chaplain Leandros is also forced to obey the Codex to the letter. Which may sound like a dream job, but people forget that Leandros already severely broke the Codex Rules at his earliest convinience. Like, he broke a pretty big rule without thinking twice about it. If you do that as a Chaplain, it will have the severest consequences. So no he is truly shackled by the Rules of the Codex and he stands alone, never being able to truly be a part of the Brotherhood the rest of his Chapter shares. Leandros becoming a Chaplain was as much a punishment as it was a promotion. Calgar essentially set him up for failure. And if Leandros fails as a Chaplain his downfall will be historical.

I just imagined the ZF Clan as a successor chapter. No Primarchs wants to claim that amount of Bullshittery as their own, including the Traitors. They just appeared one day, wrecked havok ever since, showed blatant displays of military incompetence... yet they win every time!! And it makes the other Chapters crazy!!!! The Space Wolves loves them cause they're funny tho.

If you want some level of Necron's tech level of scary. They have a device called the Celestial Orrery. It's basically a projected map of the galaxy/universe. By interacting with it, they can physically shift reality or casually cause whatever stars or planets projected to blow up. But they don't do so and basically use it as door cam to their front lawn because they think its beneath them and unecessary to do so. Also they basically hate Chaos and can backhand them easily if they wanted to.
