Im surprised your leaving Colombia. I love Colombia but selling everything and moving there full time didn't seem practical at my age maybe when im in my mid to late 50s i will retire there

Im scared to death to buy property in Colombia because i dont want to get scammed. I sold a house in new York city and put that money into a 5% savings account with capital one and use that interest to support my life and pay my rent in Colombia

How could this guy say such a lie about the architecture in the US? For God's sake, don't say things to get views or clicks. The houses I have seen in South Florida are at another level. 10% of Colombia might look like 1st world but the majority of the country does look 3rd world. I was born in Colombia and lived there until 22 and I have been living in the states for 26 years. I can easily compare both worlds because I know them very well. The cost of living works for those that earn in USD and Euros. That's not the reality for those that earn COP. The majority of people in Colombia earn between 2 million COP and 2.5 million COP and even less. That's around $600 USD and it could be less than that.

This apartment without the view, on average, in the US would be more like $3k. Add a view that's comparably stunning and you're at least doubling that. I live in Missouri and rent is below average here. There apartment in my city would be in the $2k-2.5k but no great view

Groceries were definetly cheaper than US. I would normally pay close to $40 for just the meats... everything just got super expensive these past two years lol

One excellent secondary city that is close to Sao Paulo is Jundiaí, SP. The cost of living is much less and the town is less chaotic. When I was traveling to a smaller town to visit a language exchange partner, I passed through Alphaville which replicates a wealthy suburb of the US. Personally am trying to get away from that style of life. I enjoy walking instead of driving and I enjoy mingling with people. I do prefer the secondary towns where it is convenient to visit a larger city, but where I have a calmer less chaotic experience most days. I really enjoyed Floripa, SC though I need to determine which kind of Brazilian culture I prefer. So, I am planning on visiting the locations in Minas Gerais including the capital Belo Horizonte. I do prefer a temperate climate. Curitiba Parana is a very orderly city, but I might prefer people who are a bit more extroverted on average.

Residential zoned properties can still be rent on Airbnb. You can just not rent them for less than 30 nights. If you want to rent them short term on Airbnb you need to register @RNT and enter the registration number.

People from the US have heard this term many times and are not aware of the origin, nor the evolution of the meaning. They would be surprised at what they encounter once they travel to other parts of the world. Such as the airport that is located in the capital of Santa Catarina. Or a subway line in Chengdu Sichuan. I recommend you to walk all along AV SANTA FE, which joins 3 neighborhoods, Retiro, Recoleta, Palermo and Belgrano (transformed into Av Cabildo), this avenue is top, it has everything, important stores, restaurants, bookstores, cafes, lots of them, it is where the locals go to shop. You will also find the most famous bookstore in the world, El Ateneo, Shopping Alto Palermo, and in Palermo, the Botanical Garden.

How is Argentina nicer or more modern than Europe?? That's a preposterous thing you just said. Cleaner maybe but definitely not more modern. Europe has Trams and high speed rail everywhere. Argentina gas nothing close to that. In Argentina the transit cards for the Metro are not modern at all. Buenos Aires may be more advanced than USA cities but it's definitely not more advanced than Europe. Most of Europe is as clean as Argentina btw.

It's called Íberoamerica. "Latin America" doesn't exist because the Romans never colonized the American continent. Latins are from Lazio Italy not Íberoamerica. Although many Argentinos are REAL LATINOS ACTUALLY because we do have Italian ancestry. The region Argentina is in though is Íberoamerica. Saludos Íberoamerica!

Falso, nadie en America Latina habla alguna lengua de los pueblos íberos, lo iberos no hablaban lenguas romances ni tenian el cristianismo como su religión. Si existe America Latina, y de hecho la estas viendo, son Latinoamericanos porque sus lenguas (castellano, frances y portugues) derivadan del latin, NO de los pueblos iberos. CULTURA, MÚSICA, GASTRONOMIA en Incluso parte de su RELIGIÓN viene de Roma. Los Latinoamericanos son una mezcla de Pueblos Americanos+ españoles, franceses+italianos. Tambien hay mezcla africana, Judia, libanesa, etc. En Conclusión debes leer libros e ir a Conocer Latinoamerica para que aprendas porque se llaman asi. Ver videos desinformativos en tiktok no es suficiente.
