My generation, will always love The Breakfast Club and movies from those days. The older I get, the more I miss those days. 💔

I don’t know what I loved more, Molly Ringwald’s wardrobe, Jon Cryer’s performance, or the awesome soundtrack……

I used to really like Jon Cryer until he played Alan on Two And a Half Men. The most annoying, unlikeable chracter ever. Lol

Melody is beautiful… the first part sounds mysterious and the somebody save me part brings you to a place where you are in danger but super fast help is coming…smallville sounds a nice place to live with clark around

Dice : Why does she come here knowing I don't let you in? Think about it. 😂 Duckie was such a putz. 💯

Y’ know , I just recently rewatched this since forever & I always originally thought that she should have chosen Duckie. However, now after the rewatching , I think they got it right with the reworked ending. I knew about the original ending growing up and always thought that was how it should have ended , a la Some Kind Of Wonderful . What I got wrong then was that I always thought Blaine had no backbone to stand up to his friends but i was wrong, he clearly stands up to them for Andie and he did deserve to have Andie choose him in the end

I appreciate the 80s decade a lot more now that I'm not coming of age with all the silly music and hairdos. It sure was good to live in then though. No distractions like cell phones made us much more aware than the mindless generation of today.

The song is like a punch to the soul and the fist is covered in nostalgia. "Always had time on our side, now its fading fast / Every second, every moment We've got to, we've gotta make it last. Just beautiful!

Russia in Afghanistan, highest concern ever of nuclear Armageddon. High crime, poverty, unemployment. Interest rates in double digits. Don’t romanticize the past. It’s always been a struggle for the good.
