I remember my Nan in Whyalla having a Mandarin tree!! I would eat about 5 of them a day!! I can't justify buying them from the shops today!! Love the camera security!! Wonders if you might catch something paranormal in your backyard?? LOL!! Nice harvest btw!! Cheers from Adelaide!!

I'm a bit behind with your videos. Have you tried banana skin on the hoyas?
@InTheGardenAU

No. How does that work?

@@InTheGardenAU I have no idea how it works. I remember Mum telling me some years back. It was just the skin so we got to enjoy the banana first

It was really welcome after such a dry year. Things were in serious jeopardy if we didn't get rain when we did! Thanks for commenting!

Your farm life is good medicine for your busy lives at work. Your garden will be magnificent when we eventually get some decent rain.

I hope so! But we love the lifestyle so the hard work of getting everything set up is very worthwhile. Thank you for commenting.

Most of the farming KZbinrs I watch are in the Northern Hemisphere, it's refreshing to have one in the same time zone as me. A question about your cucurbits. Are you hand pollinating the flowers? And I'm told calcium can help the flowers
@InTheGardenAU
@InTheGardenAU Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. No, we haven't been hand pollinating, purely based on time available. And I will certainly look into the calcium. Thanks for the suggestion!
@SuzieEisfelder
@SuzieEisfelder Жыл бұрын
@@InTheGardenAU Yep. It certainly does take time. In Melbourne, I've only had one cucurbit that's set without hand pollination
