Just installed mine, works great!!!!! I would suggest just removing the readout so you don't have to worry about drilling in the wires and then reinstalling it after drilling.

Not on the base model which is shown in this short promotional video. We have a couple of other positioners on our website that either include or can be upgraded with a purge kit.

If I rotate the angle finder backwards too far in accident is there a way to recalibrate it and start over?
@Swagoffroad4 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, when rotating to far backwards, the small electrical contacts inside of the device can be damaged. In the past, we have had some success straightening them back out. The other option is to pick up a new digital angle gauge and replacing the contacts into your existing U-Turn.

I would happily buy the entire heavy duty kit, with all the various dies etc except for one thing. I’m downunder, & when I go to “checkout” the postage is $1k 🇦🇺 Aussie sh!tsvillian pacific micro pesos. 😳😳 Embarrassing as it is to say, for that kinda money, I’m just going to buy the steel locally and make one, basically copying your idea. Not the way I’d prefer to go, but with UPS freight being so totally unrealistic nowadays - that’s about the only sensible thing to do. Not proud to say it, you have a good design & a good product & id like to support you - but I just want it shipped at an affordable cost, I don’t want to buy the damned plane it’s getting shipped in ffs. 🙄 Someone needs to slap UPS / USPS or whoever is doing your shipping silly because you’ll never grow your market outside US Borders with idiots running your postal service. 🙄
@Swagoffroad10 ай бұрын
I really do apologize for the excessive shipping to Australia and totally understand not moving forward with an order. The weight of our products really kills us on international shipping since the brake all by itself weighs close to 75lbs. We are currently looking for a distributor in Australia but have yet to find one that will work. Do you know of any shops down under that do online sales for welding/metal fab supplies? We'd love to grow our international sales but your 100% correct, shipping cost is making that next to impossible.
@ianmoone235910 ай бұрын
@@Swagoffroad We really only have the one national supply shop for metal machining products in Oz. They are a national chain called “Machinery House” (Hare & Forbes). They move a mountain of product & are a good supplier. They would be your best option I would think. If they would stock the Harbour Freight Shop Presses & Swag Offroad Press Breaks to go with them, most Aussies with a “man cave” would have one of each in a heart beat. I buy all my machining needs for the Bridgeport Mil through them & am about to buy my new metal lathe from them in their March annual sale. They are good blokes to deal with, their staff have industry experience so can field questions with knowledgeable staff who have industry experience to provide the right product & their prices aren’t too bad either. I’m guessing they would be your best option. Thanks for your response - please don’t be mad at me for attempting to make my own. Like I have said, you have a good product, it’s reasonably priced & you deserve every success if the US Postal Service weren’t handicapping your supply options. Sending a shipping container load downunder to a national chain like Machinery House ( Hare & Forbes) would mean that all of us could finally access the product at an affordable cost nationally. Maybe yourselves and Harbour Freight could share a shipping container between you to get both products here in one go at 50% of the shipping bill maybe? 🤷♂️ Wishing you the best of luck with it. 👍👍👍🇦🇺

@@ianmoone2359 I really appreciate the suggestion! Just reached out to them! And no hard feelings whatsoever. Our products are so heavy that international shipping can be absolutely insane. With any luck at all, we'll have someone you can buy from directly in Australia!

Is it possible to fab roll cage bends with your machine? Or do I need a bender not a roller. Thanks
@Swagoffroad11 ай бұрын
Hello, Thank you for your interest in our products. Though the Hulk Roller is frequently used for roll cage fabrication, the type of cages that require a roller are typically fancier with arched tops and back. For basic roll cages, you will be better served by our REV 2 Tube Bender. If you would like some example photos showing which bends are formed with which tool, please send us an email at [email protected] Thank you, SWAG Off Road

Can I roll 1/2" round solid with the tube dies
@Swagoffroad Жыл бұрын
Hello, You'll have no trouble at all rolling .5" Round Bar if you are using a Hulk Tubing Roller. If you are going to use our dies in the Harbor Freight Roller, I would highly recommend adding our Weld On Wing Kit. .5" Solid round is strong enough that it would be very difficult to roll without spreading out the bottom dies. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, SWAG Off Road
