I was wondering, do they have a time limit to get their affairs in order like: "You have two days or I cut your head" or is it like: "Cool dude, see you in maybe two months, maybe ten!" or possibly a year later: "A backing track? You sent me a...? Never received it... What's your name again?

The track I wrote for Reb, Flying High was in Guitar Techniques issue GT326, available 25th August 2021. This issue might be found on eBay. I'll look into uploading pieces I've done with various players I've written for over the years. Thanks for watching!

I never heard of Brett until now. I watched a video of Nelson back in the day and I was intrigued by the guitar he was playing and Wonder what it was. Ended up here and wow what a treat. Jeff Beck would be proud 👍💯😎

Thanks for watching. Brett is great for sure, check out all the other tracks we've done together. You might like to start with Slam Bam as that's proved very popular over the years!

Watched this again, with gratitude for all the music Allan Holdsworth made, and appreciation for the way you've articulated not only these key aspects of his playing but also the admiration we all have for his monster talent. Combine that talent with Allan's humility? Out of this world.

I don’t think there are many Guitarists who are openly sharing their experiences, methods and giving 45min tutorials quite as much as this awesome guy. . Paul Gilbert has been my top favorite Rock Guitarist since first heard Lean Into It, way back in 1992. I absolutely love this Guy for all his endless inspiration. Rock And Roll 💜💜

20:15 Dude I seriously quested all over the internet trying to figure out how to effectively mute without a wrap for 8-finger tapping. Even articles and exercises specifically about this style of tapping would just not mention muting. But FINALLY Joel explains it. I basically had come to a similar idea after studying lots of footage (and Jeff Watson also discussed this in his 8-finger lesson), but it was great to hear Joel explain his technique with greater specificity and give me some much-needed confirmation. Thanks a lot for this video, guys!

Thanks for your comments, Joel is a fantastic musician and an outstanding tapper. We've a new piece dropping here and in Guitar Techniques later this year!

These Australians have there own unique sound, different from the American guitarists or from Europe. Surroundings, weather, culture it can all influence your music. This tune makes me feel if I am on a beaitiful beach with some palm trees in Australia.

is it just me or does kiesel has small scale frets compared to other guitars?
@ChrisHollandGuitarАй бұрын
Not sure if you're referring to the scale length or the size of the frets, but Kiesel offers jumbo and medium jumbo frets. The scale of the guitar that Alex is playing here is 25.5"

How unfortunate that they only had green at the store! JUST KIDDING, of course. I just realized that every time I hear a great guitar player I never heard of before, like this gentleman here, I always, unconsciously and without prejudice, try to find another one I know I could compare the licks, playing or sound to, and I am very uncomfortable with that. Whether it's an attempt to get familiar faster or to have something to say without having to do too much 'thinking', I do believe comparisons are rarely useful and sometimes, they can even be hurtful. Therefore, I will get rid of that annoying habit, as time and awareness allow. Okay, now, about the man, what could I say... reminds me of... NO, NOT THIS AGAIN, AHHHH... He, he, he.
