in Italy there was recently a very classical piece that was becoming popular in Europe, by a British group that mixed electronic elements with classical ones with a strong reference to the "Futurism" period of the 1930s as can be seen from some video of the band and the look of the members. Here they are guests in this well-known Sunday afternoon musical program on the occasion of some dates of the Rage in Eden tour in Italy; we must however thank a video and music format that aired in that year, Mr Fantasy, who with the good host Carlo Massarini, made the group known throughout Italy and the importance of video clips as a future promotional form

I actually watched it live by pay per view with Sky. It's a real shame there are no videos of Midge's performance at this legendary benefit concert. I just cant remember seeing every part of the concert.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ultravox before a gig in 2010. A brief encounter that I will never forget. Chris and I chatted about a gig we had both attended the previous year, so sad to hear of his passing. And so good that Midge is keeping their music alive. I,ll be seeing him in London.

This should have been a HUGE hit - no shade, but it's miles better than 'Don't Give Up'.

Brilliant footage of an exceptional night of musicianship ,stagecraft and artists still on top of their game.

Stumbled on last years 80s classical you tube videos so booked tickets for this year purely on the strength of the orchestration of classic songs.. Midge Ure SMASHED it…. Amazing night of amazing music from talented artists, take a bow 2024 80s classical.
