Everyone is hating on there being no good ending, but it's literally a horror game. Yeah there's no good ending. It's meant to be hopeless. The game's biggest inspiration is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original movie only had Sally escaping. That was the extent of satisfaction. There was no actual closure to the events. Same here

There's a cancelled or still-in-development Puppet Combo game called Tenebra, which is about a plague doctor who goes to a hospital that's set up to kill infected patients or something like that. Well, I have a theory that if it comes out, it would be smart for Ben Cocuzza to tie it into the hospital ending, since then he wouldn't have to give much context to the situation. Take advantage of the throne he created in Stay Out of the House and tie his games together better!

Ngl I spent multiple hours trying to beat stay out of the house and it's my favourite puppet combo game, but it's honestly such a waste of time because none of the endings are good, sure they are fun but you die in almost every single one of them

The game is well made for an indie PS1 throwback game EXCEPT for the endings... the endings have no good options. The argument that is intentional is flawed as a hopeless scenario only works in a linear narrative, not in a game format narrative. It takes away all choice and purpose for the player. But worse, is that the endings that are available were so poorly done and not fleshed out enough to make all the effort obtaining any of them just not worth it.

Its cool to see all these endings but im pretty sure puppet combo wont add a good ending to SOOTH (stay out of the house). All these endings are so well made and really cool, I could see why this game is one of puppet combos most prized posessions. This is a such in depth indie game with so much lore, and its so interesting. I could never get bored about this game, truly a horror masterpiece

I beat the game and I wanted to see the other endings and holy shit... The Rebirth ending was the most fucked up, disturbing, and creepiest ending I ever saw in a video game.

When you present a game with multiple endings you need to put a bad or good ending in it, because it's just a waste of time if all of it are just generally the same ending, unless the game's theme is about "you're choice don't matter" or "everything leads to the same fate" then same endings don't really makes a lot of sense, and then you'll get lots of mad people cause of it

If you think about it, mother and parasite are the worst endings. Sure, we’re not shown Roxanne dying, but even if she DOES survive..what does it matter? That weird flesh monster’s been unleashed on the world and she was the host, no matter how she survives the rest of the world wont

Gameplay is fun but endings are shit

The game is based on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, some the Halloween vibes, the Night Killer from 1990, and ,of course, the Contamination from 1980. More cheesy mix was only in the Night At the Gates of Hell.

In spite of what everyone else is saying, I think the endings are crazy and add more to the universe. I can't believe how many things are attached to the butcher's house, how he seems to be working with the guy from Night Shift, how there's always more than what meets the eye. He seems like an above average serial killer at first, but there is so much more to it.
