At 0:04 , you can improve it a tiny bit by long jumping instead of uh, idfk what you call that. I was able to get mach 3 before the end of the room, and mach 4 before the grab cancel. It might not be faster per say, cause the best time I got for leaving the first room is a 5.2, but that could be off? Anyway, congrats on the WR.

@@jammerc64 The master is (from what I can tell) just the 3 channel output from chipsynth. If there was some post processing added it was by complete accident. The only other thing I did is that I recorded the individual channels in a way that I could visualize the Non-linear mixing.

@@jammerc64 Chipsynth c64's emulation mimicks the behavior of real SID chips from various revisions, where each chip that got analysed had it's attributes and behaviors recorded, which means that instead of trying to approximate what a chip would sound like, it actually is trying to perfectly replicate the behavior of the specific chip (there's even an option for a 6581 R1, the creator of chipsynth got to analyze one if those) . From what I saw it sounded pretty similar to other emulators.
