I’d like to see a marked path up there. Newport Residents Association could help with this.

This is happening all over the Peninsula. I know of a Crown Land right-of-way at Bayview that has been fenced off and illegally claimed by residents. Then there's the Crown Land on the foreshores of Refuge Cove which has been encroached on by residents. I've informed Council twice but nothing changes. Theft of public land.

Your work is wonderful, John. There is a great public need for what you are documenting and generously making available for us to see. Thank you.

Disgraceful our Council setting an example like this. My property is covered with eucalypts dropping huge branches. Does this mean I should chop them all down??? This all about how this Council spends it money and its not on environmental protection

Please write to council to ask for their help to save these beautiful trees and demand a management plan for tree care
@marilynmesange16104 ай бұрын
So council would rather cut these beautiful trees than spend money to care for them as needed. Just like they prefer to concrete pathways than keep grasses to reduce mowing. Our council reduces on ground maintenance but has no problem to increase bureaucrats salaries and consultant fees for endless reviews and marketing Internet communications. Additionally, Are we need supposedly according to them in a climate emergency ? Trees keep our streets cool in summer and reduce carbon, providing us with oxygen . The perfect synergy of man and nature .

Massacres happened everywhere in Australia,so many people will never know....the Australian holocaust...it happened. On a side note ,i was hitch hiking one day as i have done many times in my life ,and a man i believe to be Bradley James Murdoch picked me up...tried to set his dog on me while in his car,but I'd been scratching and rubbing the dogs belly without him seeing ,as i was already highly suspicious,the dog whimpered and refused to attack me, know he man became increasingly agitated,he started making animal type sounds, grumbling ect ,he then tried at least 3 times to take turn offs in the middle of nowhere and refused to let me out of his car,on all occasions,it came to the point that I unclicked my seat belt ,opened the door and got on the edge of my seat , preparing to jump out of the car at high speeds.. luckily on each occasion,a car came the other way and he returned to the main road...he did not mention at all ,that i had just tried to jump out of his car at high speeds 3 times...this man was a lunatic...there is much more to tell to this story ... I tried contacting police from various police units ,who basically tried to write the matter of and do absolutely nothing about it...much like(or exactly like),the man who escaped Ivan Milat.... F*ucking cops do nothing...which makes me wonder if they are always avoiding doing police work...what are they really up to?. My first thought is corrupt activities.. Anyway,great video and good to see history being taught as unpleasant as it is..

I love that great man - 88 and still nailing it! If only THIS had been given as much exposure in the media as those naysayers spreading their disinformation - their outrageous claims barely challenged or analysed. Loved the spectacular scene and song at the end too! We could be waking up tomorrow knowing we're a largely open-hearted, generous, commonsense people who genuinely care about the situation and future of so many of the first inhabitants of this country...however...looks like we ain't. Hard to cop.

Thankyou for posting this incredibly sad but very beautiful, heartfelt video to the shameful, devastating, response of, around 60% (??!!) of Australian citizens in the refendum today. A dark day in our history.
