What’s crazy… a lot of the pressure to get the school’s attention falls on the player. The kid is breaking the door down to get in. And then 2 years later when he’s all conference the coach is described as a top notch recruiter

Lamar has been to the playoffs, he just can’t win in the playoffs offs, just like Dallas, they win all season and come playoff time they can’t measure up.

Big facts, can’t bring a coward’s mindset to a lion’s game. At the top, it’s not about your tone. It’s about the message! You can’t worry about tone of a safety after you just had a 65-yard touchdown pass thrown on you when you didn’t pass him off correctly.

That's right. You have to be athletic to be an athlete because you have to use your strength and agility to win. But the most important is that you have to be mentally athletic to win. What causes your response to outside stimulus (that the opponent produces) is your internal forces, factors, and structures that cause you to produce your own output. Your output has to maintain or attain, sustain or gain something that your opponent cannot. And that result is called winning. Winning is 5 things: 1. not losing (sustaining) what you already have, 2. not depreciating (so maintaining) what you already have, 3. attaining (taking it from them) what someone else has, 4. gaining (an advantage) over something that no one already has, but that another or others is/are vying for. Then there is next level winning, which is appreciating (adding value to) your wins. You do this so that challengers have no chance of pulling the no. 3 that I mentioned on you.
