Nice video! I’ve never used the syclops for Splake or Lakers. I do catch a lot of pike on syclops though. I’m definitely going to try using them for lakers now.

What’s the line setup? Are you running a braid + mono leader? Floro?
@BrydonBАй бұрын
Mostly use 10 or 15lb braid and use a 8-12 pound flouro leader. Depending on jig weight for the conditions, depth etc.

Brother, one nice fish after another...good lord!! Awesome!! I saw the rap jig but what was the worm set up you were using? Im out here in CO and have a nice walleye reservoir near my house that I've been trying to catch some nice walleye in. There are some big ones in there (Chattfield Res) and I'm just getting into walleye fishing with my new boat purchase. I dont have a fancy fish finder just yet but the one that came with the boat at least tells me depth and fish depth. I can tell when I'm over walleye when I see fish sitting 2' above the bottom around the 20' depths. I think next time out I'll try rap jigging and would like to try your worm jig if you could give me some info on that please? Any details on weight, brand and color for rap and worm would be epic. Thanks so much and look forward to your next vid.
@BrydonBАй бұрын
I really appreciate it! The worm jig heads I’m using are 1/8 or 1/4 ounce usually Northland Tackle gold or yellow. Just using half of crawler. For jigging raps I would buy a darker colour like their black/silver one and then a bright colour. Yellow and silver etc.. usually in a size 7. My two favourite summer baits.. jig and jig rap! Good luck!

I will be in northern Ontario on Lady E lake and want to just be better and learn how to catch fish , my father ( passed away ) but only taught us to use night crawlers and that’s it .. I have a open face reel and couple decent rods . Look for like what hooks to use does color matter , and what baits to try. Thanks really trying to learn all over again . I love this lake and love to fish , but I hate that I drowned worms when all around us is catching fish
@SeagullTunes3 ай бұрын
@@JpMullen I only used worms and a 1/8 jig (white or chartreuse) while on Lady E. Jigging, drifting, all seemed to work for us. 10-12 feet of water was best.
