Making the GML EQ Mode on this plugin Protools only doesn't make any sense in 2024. I would not buy a plugin that has certain features only available on one platform.

I watched most of the Sonnox video's on this plugin and I don't hear any real changes. This plugin is the most expensive of all the Sonnox plugins. I don't hear it ! I am so glad I didn't spent over $200 on this. Thanks for the video

We currently have a sale running over at Plugin Boutique with a substantial amount of discount for DeNoiser, so do feel free to have a look and see if this discount represents more value for money for your productions. Alternatively, we offer 14 day free trials if you would like to experience DeNoiser for yourself. Thanks again for your comment and we are here if you have any questions!

Thanks for your feedback! We have just responded to your comment on another DeNoiser video, but just to reiterate that we have 14 day free trials if you are finding the difference hard to hear on this video; sometimes the streaming makes it harder to hear the A/B test differences. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like any help or support; we are here to answer any questions you may have. :)

@@sonnoxplugins Hi. I really like the equalizer. The only thing I miss is the rollback. That is, one button that cancels the last action when pressed. As I wrote above, it's not that big of a deal, but it's nice to have a button like that:) It would also be nice if we could give each track a different color. And on the master, EQ Carlo would show up to 10 or more tracks by color gamut. Something like a TDR Prism.

Like this vid but that background music is dire. I bought this today, seems pretty good. There does not seem to be any presets nor any way to save your own presets within the plugin ui itself. Am I missing something?
@sonnoxplugins
@sonnoxplugins 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! In order to save a preset that you have created, you can edit the parameters to your desired settings, then click 'Save As'. Once you have entered the name for your preset and saved it, you will be able to see the preset in the main menu.
@JayTheLane
@JayTheLane 3 ай бұрын
@@sonnoxpluginsThanks you that's helpful. As an aside it'd be really helpful to have a set of presets as a starting point. Also, a decent preset menu ui feature a la Eventide Split Eq would be great. I realise that Claro is a 'use your ears' plugin but most plugin manufacturers do this. For example Split Eq by Eventide has a slew of presets. If anything these help to teach less experienced folks how to eq. This would be the only criticism of what is otherwise a good plugin.

These are the only plugins in your line up that desperately need upgrading to modern standards. Sadly they are so far behind e.g. Izotope in terms of results that I haven't even loaded one up to actually use in a project in years:( In a recent shootout at the well known site pro-tools expert, they came dead last in every category. What's worse is that I was able to pick them out in every blind test in that shootout, without looking once until I checked results at the very end, as they had the poorest audible processing by a landslide, and they are still SO expensive! It really is a shame as they besmirch the otherwise almost perfect Sonnox plugin name. I really hope you consider bringing them up to the quality of your other plugins, which are all excellent. The dynamics, for example (so underrated) and inflator remain my secret weapons to this day.

BTW just to clarify further, the declicker is actually quite good, it's the denoiser and the de hum that are really poor. Sorry guys they just are and I mean no offence. The only use I have for the denoiser these days is because it can work without taking a noise print where most others can't, so for some light noise it can be useful to clean up certain recordings, like a bit of hiss from a synth recording for example. So I don't deny that, but for serious de noising and de hissing it's just terrible, and the de buzzer is, well, useless. I feel awful saying it as I use your other plugins so often, and for what I paid for these, I really would love to get more use out of them, but I hope you take this criticism in the spirit it was intended (i.e. constructive and truly sincere) and improve the algorithms. If you do release updates, make sure not to forget your loyal users and offer good update prices! Cheers!

@@sonnoxplugins The only thing I can suggest for now is to look up the pro tools expert denoiser shoot out for yourselves. Unfortunately I can not post a link in KZbin comments as it gets auto deleted. It's called the premium noise reduction shootout from 2022. That will give you some idea. Also, just in case the testers were not being fair, I ripped the dry files myself from the site and tried and got equally poor results, and I spent an hour with just the denoiser on one file trying everything I could think of. If you'd like to pass this on to support it would be appreciated. Thanks for the recent sale, I finally got drum gate, voca, listen hub and codec toolbox. Now only enveloper and EQ remain, but I have both of those on UAD so that's why I haven't needed the native versions. I was still tempted though but I have plenty of UAD DSP so I was able to resist. Take care!

For room sounds this is the most underrated reverb plugin to this day. For lush reverb sounds, different story and I think this is why a lot of people got confused with this one, as it's a room simulator first and foremost.

@@sonnoxplugins You are welcome. Just bought listen hub, Voca and drum gate. I almost have every Sonnox plugin now and use them daily. As someone who no longer has a production studio for clients but rather a home project studio for personal and friends' compositions, I was waiting so long for a sale on the Drum Gate and I am glad my patience paid off. It's simply the best drum gate plugin bar none. If you want my advice at all, the only plugins in your line up that desperately need upgrading to modern standards are the noise reduction/restoration tools. Sadly they are so far behind Waves and Izotope in terms of results that I haven't even loaded one up in years, and in a recent shootout at pro tools expert they came dead last in every category. Not only that, I was able to pick them out in every blind test as they had the poorest results. It really is a shame as they besmirch the otherwise perfect Sonnox name.
