Usually you don’t want to exceed 300m of total volume on speed days. And you can do bounds before your sprints as long as they’re not too much volume. If it’s more volume do bounds after your sprints.

Make sure you get your Draw in. It's when you lay on your back suck in until you feel your belly kind've lock in and then go for a sprint. I was and still am a Big boy who runs a 4.8 40 yard dash. Also, awesome physique for a runner/sprinter man!
