I saw Wilco live multiple times in the late 90s, but at The Vogue in Indianapolis Tweedy told the story of recording "Give Back The Keys To My Heart" with Doug Sahm to the audience then he reached down and handed me his guitar pick. I've still got the pick. The Old 97s opened at that show, btw. But if you've never listened to Doug Sahm do yourself a favor and start listening today. You might start with a song called "At The Crossroads" and go from there.
