That is intereasting video to watch Iam planning to walk both the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way August-September 2023. Wondering. Is it a possible get across Loch Ness and arrive from other side the loch to Inverness? I would like to visit village of Dores on my way and stay in there a day or two.

Thanks very much for sharing this. Your video was most helpful as I planned my first inn-to-inn hike on the Great Glen Way. I finished the hike a few weeks ago and really appreciated your insights. You helped me plan for trail conditions and anything I might encounter or need along the way. Well done.

Love your show Andrew! In 2019 your show inspired me to fly to England and I spent several weeks hiking around the Lakes District, Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors. Loved it! And thanks!

But going South always feels like walking downhill. You didn’t mention but I have to assume from your pack that there are options for breaks and meals in communities along the way. Did you have to plan for something to eat in longer sections that might have not had facilities? Well done. Sorry about the rain.

I'm lucky enough to live close to the park and walk there regularly. I love to see the wonderful wildlife - especially deer, birdlife and waterfowl such as woodpeckers, swans, cormorant, heron and have even been lucky enough to see kingfishers along the waters edge. What a privelege.

Great video, but I noticed the subtitles were a long way out of sync with the visuals which made it very hard for my hard of hearing friend to follow. It was fine for the first few minutes then went wrong. Planning to do the walk next month, so thanks for the video to wet my appetite!
