Often times the light guitars have very very nice sustain, dense wood often sounds more snappy (maple nevk/fretboard)

How's it going my friend I was trying to look up some videos of a microphone to your cell phone and I got some cordless ones around 20 some bucks and a lot of people say on Android you have to go in through your settings and I haven't figured that out I gave up. They say out of the box on iPhones they work great . And has anybody ever said you could probably pass as a double for Ozzy Osbourne back in his younger days brother you remind me of him on Looks💚😎👌🏼💨💥🤙🏻🤙🏻

Just scored one for $105 on Ebay! Very stoked! It looks like 'a "medium" size, like champ size. I've been playing a 50 year old Kustom, and they are clean sounding like Vox is. They use great speakers too. Trying to juxtapose speakers. The pathfinder would have been perfect in my high school bedroom. This handy dandy computer flowchart Valvetronix nu-tube stuff with modeling and a headphone jack was inconceivable for young players in the 80's. Looks doable though, thanks for the demo.

I've been really frustrated with this amp - bought a demo from my local music store but came with no instructions and I can't seem to find a good tutorial showing me how to use the tone room software. Vox's website doesn't even offer a owner's manual I can download??? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it!!! - Cheers!

If I want to bow a guitar, I'd buy an arpegionne or bowed guitar. It's a sort of cello with a 6 string guitar neck. Goes back to the days of the baroque era. There are some videos on KZbin of bowed guitars. Worth looking at, though

From what I’ve seen on other videos where you could hear a difference, it should be under the strings closer to the nut, not at the top of the headstock.

I am using cassettes now. I record them on a bluetooth cassette Recorder and I use a Bluetooth Cassette Player with a Bluetooth Speaker. The Reason is that I don't want to carry my Phone around everywhere. Those cassette Players are a Bit wobbly at first but they play OK after a few hours of Playing. My Tascam Multitrack recorder is Useless for. Recording on to CDs, and the Quality is not Bad on the Tapes with a Bluetooth Speaker !!!

I rarely use the drums but try turning the Guide knob to the right to turn the volume of the 'drums' up, and use the 'Guide select' to toggle between the various beats. You can use 'tap tempo' to set the beat. Lemme know if that's not helpful. Apologies for the slow reply

I just got the Alesis Q88 MKII controller...Because I was convinced that the installation was as straightforward as it is with the Q 25... But I see that it doesn't sound..And it is necessary to waste time registering.Maybe they don't know that not all of us have a fast web connection....Anyway.I registered the product on your site...But everything is blocked because they force us downloading all those programs...After 3 hours..I still can't use my controllers....Let me tell you something "This way of doing things is not smart"...Now could you please tell me How should I proceed to use my controller..? I can't understand what I have to do...The indication in your manual is useless..Because it refers to the peripherals menu of my music program...But in my Cubase there is a list of controllers and synthesizers. very partial.. and the Q88 is not present... But then, why does the alesis Q25 work directly... and the Q 88 doesn't ?

I personally prefer the Retros over the phosphor bronze strings. Mainly because, although the bronze ones have a nicer brightness to them, they corrode too fast and darken and dull within a few days, and when the initial sparkle they have when they’re fresh dies out, their tone loses all life and harmonic richness. As well they become tougher to play. When my friend recommended I use the retros, and strung them up on my 60s Martin D-18, I was quickly hooked on em and now string up all my acoustics with them. Because although they didn’t have the pleasing brilliance in the top end that bronzes had, they had a very pleasing warmth that brought out the natural, airy, woody sounds of my acoustics, and even as they started wearing down, they still retained their tone, as well they lasted WAYYYY longer, and easy to play. When comparing the nickel retros with the phosphor bronze strings, when freshly strung and stretched, yes the Bronze strings sound nicer and brighter than the retros, but compare them again after a couple weeks of play with them both, and you’ll notice a very distinct difference in both tone and playability.

Even Kurt would admit they were not really amazing. But in the late 80's & early 90's they were plentiful and they were a cheap Fender of sound quality. So broke indie guys could afford 'em. LOL That's why I snagged one. $100 for a '76 in '92. Never part with it.

There's no difference, tried it with brass and steel, same result, even cranked one of my pre-amps and overdrives to a 610 preamp and 1176 compressor, no difference, hope this helps you save $37(CAD) because Fender is full of chlorophyll when it comes to the fatfinger.

@@BryanClark-gk6ie no, that would reduce sustain by having more mass to absorb the vibrations, if you know how pickups work, sustain is based on the strings vibrating in the magnetic field of the pickup and how long the strings are able to maintain their vibration based on how much vibration is absorbed by the materials of the guitar, I know exactly how to do it, just need funding for the project, the patent and I'll sell it at $50 or less because you'll actually be able to hold notes and chords forever and it will add a new form of expression.

Unfortunately I used that and lifted my bridge over time. so do it gently especially when you have low action or just use lint free microfiber cloth to clean grime under the strings.

I like these strings (.010 - .046) as well. I find most major brands (DR, D'Addario, GHS) to be way to screechy. Other strings I like are Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys, DR Pure Blues, and Rotosound Yellows.
