I absolutely adore that you still make the same experiential videos that you did back in 2013. I was looking for videos back then about what it was like to actually buy, drive and live with an EV, and every other video was (and still is) just a quick review and spec-list / checklist, and it wasn't until I found your channel that I finally decided to buy a Tesla Model S P90D. I need you to help me choose my next EV. Keep doing what you do! 🥰

I am currently in Thailand for a few months and I have seen a lot of these cars on the road. It looks really good. But my favourite is the BYD Seal which I borrowed for my stays. Btw in Bangkok and also here in Krabi I have seen a lot of EVs (mainly Ora and BYD) on the road which was a surprise for me. Next month I am off to Chang Mai so I am excited to see how it is over there and then I am going to Vietnam so I am planning to borrow Vinfast. Thank you for the amazing content Bjorn. I hope you are enjoying nice weather like me because in Europe it is freaking cold😂

I think bjorn decision in buying car disconnect with ordinary Thailand People, pretty sure 2 Million Baht car will sell a lot less in thailand vs 1 million baht car. It doesn't matter that 2 million baht car is better especially if the improvement not in something essentials.

I came to this conclusion a long time ago lol. Most people don’t use the “FSD” per se and most people don’t go 1000 km on a trip very often either. He seems to put efficiency and “FSD” above all else. The typical buyer cares how far the car can travel on a charge, the usability and the price. He keeps saying Tesla is the best and I don’t doubt him, however, he doesn’t mention that when comparing the prices that the Tesla FSD cost extra. Where as most of the other systems are included in the price of the car. This makes a huge difference when comparing the costs. Also, I hate to say it but he seems to have prejudice against the Chinese manufacturers, even tho he says he is part Chinese. Even non trivial stuff he has a problem with when it’s from a Chinese car maker, but it won’t even get mentioned when it’s from the non Chinese manufacturers.

@sho38 yes, for a long time I watch this channel, there is a bias. But I think it's okay, because his demographics for European (probably western). I think it also because from habits, or used to Norway/western logic what consider important, or correct way to drive so it's okay for me. Look at how he almost have accident, for people in my country, it will be judge that bjoen lack of skill/awareness to handle situation. You always expect other people make mistake, probably honk to give notice for car in front and pay attention of how next car behave is better way avoid accident if driving in south east Asia in general.

As long as they make you scan a QR code using the charger's own app, there should not be any security risk, they are just looking for the charger number embedded in the URL In theory this is a reliable way of selecting the correct location and plug instead of showing you a list where you could pick the incorrect one. IMO there should always be the manual pick available in case the QRs are missing or unreadable At worse, a prankster could swap QR codes around and make you waste time by starting a session on a charger that's somewhere else The danger is when opening a QR code in a browser, you'll never know if that's the real ad-hoc page or not. QR codes should only be displayed on a charger screen for user protection The only realistic danger I see with an app would be if it is a generic app for a white label solution, and they take the URL for the server from the QR without checking from an official list. But I don't think I have ever seen that, usually white label solutions still operate from a single server that's hard-coded in the app and everything is purely visual styling per vendor Every other attack vector through an app I can think of would require a high level of incompetence from the developers. You really need to go out of your way to make a mobile app insecure. Developers must white-list the servers they will send data to, though they are able to configure a wildcard and lose this protection

There are so many things that they can do for EGMP platform (first gen at least, most of the facelifts have some of this already): manual battery precondition, precondition battery when a charger is selected in aa/cp, add turn by turn in HUD from aa/cp, wireless aa/ac (most navigations have wifi chip integrated but is not used because of license issues...), lock/unlock when leaving/approach, close windows/lid when locking the car, one push close windows for back seat doors, netflix/youtube on navigation while stationary (the Korean versions have it), lock the car while in camping mode, access video and record from car's cameras, turn on seat heating/ventilating while using remote climate control, sync key to profile and apply saved settings when unlocking. Maybe boost performance somehow (convert usb storage to RAM since the Gen5w runs on an old version of android. Icon of the actual car in navigatin, or at least the correct color on 360 view. Turn off the headlamps when in park mode, for some reason, the headlamps are on if you have them set to auto and the light sensor considers they need to be on, but while parking it should turn to parking lights or somehow let the user decide.

Manual Pre-conditioning 100% for the E-GMP cars. Not sure the facelift versions have it though. To be fair Bjorn utility mode acts as a camp mode with a simple work around. Can’t comment on that Thai car though🤷🏻. But good ideas for Enhance. Do you think Enhance could do vehicle to load for Tesla? 🤔
@psdaengr911Күн бұрын
Young kids are not just shorter overall. Their legs, feet and hips tend to be disproportionately smaller. Notice that Tesla does NOT call this a 7 adult passenger vehicle, nor is the two row version called a 5 adult passenger vehicle. It's up to the buyer to determine whether the people they want to transport can fit into the seats that are provided. I know of an unusually large man that I wouldn't try to fit in the front seats of a Honda Accord, and a woman who has to use a booster seat to be able to drive. Both can fit in any of the 4 seats of my Honda Element. Both would have some difficulty getting in or out of the rear seats using the grab handles because of their weight or their reach. I'm +75 years old, 6'-2" and 185 lbs and don't. On the other hand it's awkward for me to get in and out to drive any midsize sedan after driving a vehicle that I can slide in or out of without bending or stretching. That includes the Models 3 and Y. I suppose that I could learn to do it. But why? There are other vehicles that I can fit into comfortably. (It looks like the prototype cybercab is one of them.)
