Great to present the Rode wireless GO ii product ! Haven't heard of it and very versatile indeed. Wouldn't replace the AIAIAI for me as what I am looking for, but it might suit a lot a of people and it's great to know it exists.

Thanks for all the tips! With regard to the folding stand, my MC-101 has raised ridges around the rubber feet on the bottom. If yours has those too, did you file them down after removing the rubber feet or just stick the folding stand across the ridges?

Is there a way to transmit to multiple receivers? I want to be able to perform silent headphone shows.

I stopped taking you seriously when you started talking about headphones for watching TV because it tells me you don't understand sound colourisation, why TV listening listening would have it and why studio monitoring equipment doesn't.

F Roland, they didn't honor my warranty and wanted to charge me $130 to fix the broken CTRL 1 knob. So needless to say, I'm not worried about voiding the warranty. Sent it to them in 12/2023 they have not sent it back to me 4 months later after months of calling and trying to get in touch with their dumpster fire customer service. This and my Juno DS-88 are the only Roland products I've bought and never buying anything else. Love the Verselab, hate the company who made it now. Anyway, cool video dude, rant over.

Why!? make a video on why to not buy a pair if you haven´t even tried them? And why dont you even mention anything thats good with AIAIAI. You just mention the "pros" and not the "cons" on other brands than the AIAIAI. Im not pro or against the product but there is a reason that a lot of pro producers and DJs use them, i think you´re kinda biased. And the fact that you actually recommend gaming headsets instead of this AIAIAI its beyond me. We are talking about STUDIO HEADSETS aren´t we? like professional quality studio, not listening to mp3 on your phone... Have fun with your cheap Razor headset as a producer buddy. Sorry man, you have no grounds to downwote the AIAIAI brand. Weird review.

If anyone's tried using this with dual transmitters to get a stereo signal at the receiver I'd love to know if it works and is semi-reliable for home-studio use. I'm worried it might introduce phase issues or other problems that may be hard to predict. Haven't seen anyone online trying this setup yet :)

Just a question, just in case you tested that. Have you tried to connect a TS MONO cable to the mic input on the transmitter? I'm thinking on splitting the stereo phones output of my device into two mono TS path with a splitting cable. Then, connect each TS to each of the transmitters of a GO 2 dual. This will get me a true stereo on the receiver....should work, isn't it?

Do you know if any USB - DC (same connector of course as the MV-1) will do or does it need to be a specific cable like the one you used? would you know what DC connector it is?
@budspencer75408 ай бұрын
For the battery mod an idea is also to have a double velcro tape and have the power bank simply under the MV-1, especially if using the stand, it would stay under without problem

Hi thanks for the video. I bought the Wireless Go 2 and connected to my headphones from a line out of my guitar pedal board and the sound comes out way too distorted or too soft when I turn the volume down at the source to clean up the sound. Are you having the same experience?
@jimmytightlips5 ай бұрын
You need a preamp between your pedal board and your headphones/speakers....a guitar amp will have one built in....thats why its a super low signal. You can buy a preamp or an audio interface like a focusright scarlet

Random odd question: Do you, by chance, have pictures of the verselab circuit boards and chips? I'm doing a bit of research for a video I'm making, and would just as soon avoid opening up my verselab if pictures already exist (Google search didn't turn up anything useful). Mostly I'm just looking for clarification on RAM and internal storage.

The Røde is 6 ms at the transmit stage - not the whole pathway from signal to movement of the driver (which is how the Aiaiai is meassuring).
@davedraws76 Жыл бұрын
Bro. Right off the bat I have two issues hurting my trust in what you’re about to present 1. That transmitter is the size of a phone. Couldn’t be more portable 2. You make most of your music away from the studio. What?

I don’t know what you’re talking about but this video is the best I’ve seen on wireless, latency free setup. Been sending to all my friends so they don’t buy overpriced shit like the Wave Eight speaker that just got released.
@AbsentCurtis Жыл бұрын
I've tried wireless gaming and tv headsets and have had too much latency with both of them. Sennheiser does make some RF wireless studio headphones that I liked with no latency and had for a few years but they gave out. I tried a lower cost version and they had too much latency for recording. Tracks would always end up just enough milliseconds behind the click track to make it annoying to adjust.
