Yes the late great Stu Basore throwin' down those cool steel guitar rifts, might be a pedal steel. Pat sounds like he's playing thru some reverb. Grand Pappy Robbins on the thud staff.

This is THE Red Hot Chili Peppers what I loved. Not the alter-rock rubbish what they are pushing now. One Hot Minute was an unjustifiably underrated record, and also their last really good record. I didn't even like Californication, regardless of the Frusciante comeback (but I love you Johnny).

RHCP will always be better than Faith no More. Just another mainstream “suburban lover’s” rip off band who adopted the Peppers sound, especially (Anthony’s Rap style) so they could stay relevant and cool. I’ve seen so many lame corny FNM fanboys hate on RHCP 🤦‍♂️ they’ll say “RHCP is like the poor persons FNM” 😂 proving my point about the whole “suburban kid’s” ripoff version of the RHCP 🤣

Rad, thank you Lou Darlin, it must of been a blast touring and performing with the legendary Lucky White back in the 1950s and 60s. I just love your story about almost knocking little Jimmy Dickens off the stage because you didn't see him. 🤣 Yes Gwen is fantastic, she was hanging with country western royalty when I was filming her interviews and her band back in the 1980s and 90s. By the way, this is next level marketing and publicity. Yee Haw.
@IsingTenor

Yes, almost knocked Jimmy Dickens down, I was so embarrassed. Lucky was also a jokester; our guitar player nailed his boots to the stage with long spikes, while playing he would lean way out over the lady's heads when they were walking by. One day Lucky took out the spikes and put in penny nails. Next performance, when the guitar player leaned out his realized he was slowing moving closer to the floor and wound up on the dance floor. everyone laughed so hard, no one was harmed. Lucky's mic would all of a sudden go dead while singing off and on after that prank, took him a bit to figure out he was being pranked. Those were great times!

Hey thanks and you're welcome, I was going to do a two or three camera shoot but was declined by the house management. They wanted $8,000. The restrictions they imposed on me created this kind of production value. I forgot I had this footage actually. Looked in my archive and there was the master tape. I only wish they would've played Jerry was a Race Car Driver. 🤣🤠🎸🎶
