I also went to the Metal Crushes All tour and I hung out with the guys in Frozen Soul beforehand at Redcaps Corner. They're Magic The Gathering players. I play Yu-Gi-Oh, and Chad said he used to play Yu-Gi-Oh too. Still was great hanging with them.

Yes Bobby's voice could no longer hit those high notes, but the rest of the guys were still amazing. Everyone had great stage presence and the performances still slapped!

King Diamond still has songwriting chops. but he's not going to outdo anything he previously did with this new album except maybe his most dull records like voodoo and the graveyard, and house of god. i have really high expectations and the first single 4 years ago was great, but this one is just so meh... that if its the second best song that wants to showcase how strong the album is, well, it lends itself to believe the album is going to be just mid-range (not top tier or worst) King Diamond.

If it's at the level of Give Me Your Soul....Please, then I'll be happy enough,
@johnnybaboon81663 күн бұрын
Very true, but then again no band from that era is gonna outdo their prime years in current times. IMO more often than not King Diamond’s singles are never the strongest tracks on the album, but they’re the most digestible if that makes sense? Based off how the tone sounds, I have a good feeling about the album overall. Not gonna top his first 5 albums but I think it’ll at least outdo Puppet Master and Give Me Your Soul Please, which are actually pretty solid albums themselves.

respect that Grammies recognize what metal is and not another band like Jethro Tull. Shame it was on Kimmel because I refuse to give that poser any views. Prefer to give my time to reactors instead. You need to check out Poppy also, she's so versatile as an artist.

lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. Also kinda sounds like an angular proggy album cut on first listen, but maybe it's just another grower jinjer song.....also tati looks hot here 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance) Jinjer - Call Me A Symbol (Official Live in LA)

I gotta say, this song hits the heart strings for me in a significant way. The overall message is EXACTLY the type of uplifting message we need right now considering all the bullshit going on and yet to come here in the U.S. and around the world. Additionally, being the atheist that I am, the message that this life is the only one we know for certain we have and so we gotta take responsibility to step up and make the most of it is an important one in my circles. Awesome track!

This song is just a fun as hell ripper. Can't wait for the tour!
My only problem with this song is that it feels a little bit too long. Like 20 seconds or half a minute too long... Well, now that i think about it, maybe cutting a whole minute would be ideal. But I like how refreshing Scour sounds. Primitive and evil, while being modern and not too alienating, so they balance all the elements really well, it's not too far into grindcore or black metal, or death metal, while checking all these boxes. That's impressive.
