I’m saving up some money and thinking of going there with my older sis. We’re middle class indians so it’s really gonna be expensive but I hope we do travel there one day. I really love 🇯🇵

Japan is a relatively safe place, but please do not be overconfident. It is dangerous for a woman to go to a place where there are few people alone. There have been crimes in which foreign women have become victims.

It's a good thing she had other people to meet up with while there, cause I don't reccomend solo travels, but I'm suprised she was brave enough to travel alone in a foreign country. I don't want to go to a foreign country that I don't know the language of without a tour guide.

omg this is my dream! until i remembered i did this too! when i was 27 i went to japan solo, i was mezmerized by the city shinjuku and would have stayed there forever except it started raining 🥲

A girl who looks as pretty as you will just float with ease every where you go. People will fall over themselves to help you. It's not all sunshine and rainbows though, she faces the very real danger of predators because of her looks too This isn't the average human experience.

Something else in the comments is that a lot of people are concerned about meeting other travellers in Japan. As a Japanese, if I were to say a famous foreigner in Japan these days, I would say Thomas Lockley. Many Japanese know him so well that he has created three songs such as Wizard of fabriction, Isn't that Yasuke? and Isn't that Thomas? and his arrangements are increasing at a very fast pace. I was born and raised in Japan for more than 40 years, but I've never seen a foreigner being chased by 91407 Japanese (or even more Japanese with X). I think he is an unprecedented foreigner in Japan.
