The Wanee was my happy Hippy place when I had My Brothers with me!!! It's still beautiful but it'll never be what is really was. Butch Trucks created this festival. I miss them soooo much 😢

No Capitol Theater Port Chester, NY. The old Capitol in NJ is unfortunately no more.

Cortez the killer!!! A real moving songs! It makes me remember the time of innocence when our youth was amazing, knowing people was simpler, the future was not distressing and a blue eyed girl was by my side!RIP! Now With my band, I use to play MUSIC of the seventies for my peace of mind and the audience’s!

Thx for watching, nice blast from the past. So Scofield, Warren, Russo, Ross James, who's on percussion and keys? The keyboard guy is barely glimpsed (at 6:15) is it Medeski?

I'm glad Mikaela has had the opportunity to play with both Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, and hopefully internalize some of those original Grateful Dead vibes. Her music, and that of Southern Star, lacks the power of the GD at this point in time. But as far as I can tell, her compositions are the future of that sound. I'd rather listen to Southern Star mixing old and new songs, than to Dead & Co., endlessly rehashing the same canon, also without the power of the originals.
