Im curious about the pain. I had the biopsy and she took 2 samples. I took 600mg of advil prior. I begged her to stop. Worst pain ever! Now I have to have the Mirena inserted. How is that pain? Is it just as bad? Gosh I cant take it again!

Worst. Procedure ever!!! I researched numerous websites,posts, KZbin to gauge how the procedure would be. 99% of the women said it was unbelievable pain while a small percentage said it wasn’t that bad. I was scared to have this procedure but i had no idea how painful it was truly going to be. I broke the catheter that was inserted in me from twitching due to the pain. It was reinserted & the rest went by so fast due to me nearly passing out from the pain. I remember my sweet boyfriend rubbing my back and consoling me as tears ran down my face. Now that’s over, 7-10 days I must wait for results. I’m so glad thats over. I couldn’t do it again, unless of course it guaranteed me I’d conceive.

My fsh is 92. Diagnosed with POF. I'm 44. My gp has started me on continuous hrt. Last period was june. Do you get 'bleeds' on continuous hrt?

Hello, Can I just say, thank you so much for explaining your experience of POF, as someone who is going through the post-menopause I can identify in so many ways in which this affects me today and everyday, I really appreciate your video and would really like to talk further to share information and support each other in the community. I don't have any friends who really 'get what I am going through' and recently have been prescribed with mood stabilising medication because anxiety and stress related has all been present since my diagnosis which is 3 years on!...

Another interesting video. I imagine it is hard to decide if your symptoms are premature menopause and actually report them to a doctor, or if they are something quite benign.

Thank you for sharing your story! i had a very similar journey but my diagnosis of precocious menopause came at 17. It can be very alienating when your friends are having babies and you have gone through menopause. It is very comforting to know that we women are not alone.
