they were definitely amazing openers to Alvvays. I met the band after this show and they were all soooo nice. They are opening for Death Cab for Cutie next month aswell. Hopefully you get to catch their next headline show. 🤞

Ask Molly she knows me from the Ottawa shows 🤣 I met her after night 1 and requested her to play velveteen again for the 2nd night in Ottawa. After she played velveteen again second night she said “you got your song” that’s how I got the name 😇

It was amazing live probably one of best pure shoegaze band I’ve ever experienced in person. What a show! You definitely have to see them live if you can.

@@dylanisco0l same I was lucky I was with my 2 best buds in the show and we all cried. We had high expectations for this band and they did not disappoint. Can’t believe the ticket was like $20 bucks and it was Airiel’s first ever show in Toronto.

Agreed! Hopefully when she comes back to Toronto she performs at a better venue bc it would have elevated her performance even more. This venue is actually one of the worst acoustics I’ve ever experienced.

Tess is sooo cooool. I got a sticker from her. She says her next show with full band in Toronto might be this upcoming June! Hopefully next time you can make it. I think my friend got 2 other full song recordings. I will forward them to you if you want. Her last song was Somedays which both us didn’t record 😢.
