That draw bridge in the background to the right of the ten story building- my friend and I came down there at night and climbed up on that thing. There use to be a little cat walk directly above trains on the bridge itself. I don’t think the conductor saw us even though it was coming into the yard engine first, but he did lay on the horns about mid bridge and we almost shat ourselves🤣 that was back in the 90’s. It wasn’t too far from the old power house on Taylor street if it’s still there. After going up in the north counter balance tower we had to cross the bridge down at rail level to get to the other side. Back then there was a guy in a tower that operated the bridge to raise and lower it, so to our luck a slow rolling freight train came and we took the cat walk on the far side of train to cross. That was one narrow cat walk haha
